AUSTIN -- State lawmakers headed back to work Monday at 2 p.m. for another special session. [...] The state's Republican leadership has guaranteed the abortion regulations bill will pass this time around. Gov. Rick Perry has urged lawmakers to work faster this time. He wants abortion bills debated and approved long before the deadline so a filibuster won't work.

Texas Governor Rick Perry, a pro-life patriot.
Is that because Austin police cannot be relied upon to arrest and restrain those prone to prolonged outbursts during legislative votes?
Perry is going to make a great President!!
Wasn’t he the one who said you don’t have a heart if you don’t want amnesty for illegal aliens? I seem to recall something like that from the primaries last go-round.
Get real.....Some type of amnesty will happen...because you can’t round up 12 million people and kick them out.
Spoken just like Rubio, McCain, and Graham. No wonder our side is losing.
That he would but I'll show my cards for what I think would be a great pro-God, Conservative lineup for 2016:
Reading on twitter about all these pro baby murderers screaming their little heads off..sickening..makes me realize how Satan walks amongst us, how people can love baby murder I will never understand
But they can record millions of phone calls all around the world?
They also were able to round up lots of (ACTUAL)Americans whom happen to be Japanese people in WW2, back before they had fancy computers.
I think we can handle it.
Wish I could be there to displace a rabid, baby-murdering anarchist in the gallery.
That was an expensive stunt by Wendy the Womb Raider.
Still, as a violent proponent of aborting children after 20 weeks, Wendy is a fitting leader of the party that considers abortion a holy sacriment.
Why do I keep hearing this lie? Of course you can. Why the heck not?
"Yes We CAN!"
For a joke to the Lefties, he should be named Secretary of Energy.
well madison’s capitol police are worthless when it comes to protecting conservative lawmakers and conservative protestors.
If anyone can post updates, pics, etc. it would be very much appreciated for those of us keeping these folks, our Governor and our legislatures in prayer.
Exactly!! Why do we always give in and accept the bogus assertions of left? A great country can and would start deporting these criminals on a massive scale. In fact Eisenhower did just that, it was called Operation Wetback
Those in the pro-death camp are in a state of denial about botched abortions at abortion clinics run by Planned Parenthood and others.
To them, the mantra “safe, legal, and rare” is a reality even though it is hardly safe and even when it is illegally performed because of licensing, age of the infant, minor rape victim without reporting the attack to the authorities, they don’t want prosecution.
They are pro-death and anti-woman. Planned Parenthood has been caught repeatedly coaching girls on what to say to avoid reporting their rapist. How is that pro-woman? The protesters are against a requirement that a hospital be within 30 miles of an abortuary in case the abortion is botched and the injured woman needs proper CARE.
Planned Parenthood’s paid mouthpiece spins it to say to that virtually all abortions in Texas will be banned.
And if we fall short by a few thousand, big deal.
“Get real.....Some type of amnesty will happen...because you cant round up 12 million people and kick them out.”
You don’t have to. If they would actually enforce existing laws (don’t even have to pass new ones) illegals will start to self-deport.
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
