It was he and progressive Democrat Sen. Schumer that appeared today on "Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace" and seemed to tag-team on why the "immigration" (cough) bill should be supported.

I wonder who ran faster to get in front of the lens/microphone?

A vote for S. 744 or a vote to send this to conference will end any chance of Republicans winning the presidency in 2016, given that it does not have wide-spread Tea-Party, Conservative & Libertarian support, and does not have the support of Conservative/Libertarian-leaning Independents. 2012 all over again... And thus:

They WILL be energized to primary RINOs (like Rubio, Graham, Alexander, Collins, etc, etc) in the midterms, but will NOT be energized to support the almost inevitable RINO that seems to always get the GOP presidential nomination.

Rush Limbaugh basically said that Schumer used Rubio to neutralize him, and that because Rubio was so loved by Tea Partiers that they would be loathe to criticize Rubio.

Non-RINOs in the Senate voted against the Senate bill because it is an obvious fact that it does not secure the border first (which could be done during the 2.5 years that this bill comes to fruition, when the Senate bill actually suspends border enforcement) and because this bill is not worker-visa based, but is familial-based, allowing more illegals to ultimately come in on coattails.

The bill also does not "Trust but Verify," does not have two new national security visa screening programs, does not have congressional votes on border security for five years to ensure that border security is maintained as this program rolls along, and ultimately lands the nation back in the same place it is now as the worker visa program decreases the number of agricultural visas (isn't inherently market-based), thus encouraging more and more illegals to come every year and giving us another 12 million illegals a decade from now.

Accuracy in Media reports that the immigration “reform” bill includes two “slush funds” amounting to $150,000,000 that may be supplemented with additional taxpayer dollars for years to come. These funds would go to “public or private, non-profit organizations such as the blood-thirsty La Raza, Casa de Maryland, and the leftist American Immigration Lawyers Association!

These, and multiple latino organizations are devoted to helping illegals apply for legal status. The bill not only provides amnesty for illegal immigrants, but does so as well for their employers.

As the conservative Center for Immigration Studies points out, “Illegal aliens will be rewarded for breaking laws for which American citizens are routinely punished” such as the use of fraudulent Social Security cards, while imposing a $1,000 penalty that “in many cases would be waived. Then they would be issued a new Social Security number without any past bad credit or arrest records.”

I can understand. I find the dirtbag to be repulsive.

You can add warmonger to the list. The sleazebag has never seen a conflict he doesn’t like. He wanted us to be more involved in Libya and now wants us to get involved in Syria.

The liberal left decided McCain was our candidate in 2008. They kept telling republicans that he was the republican with the greatest chance to win. Additionally, lots of dems voted for him in the primaries because they knew he was a sure loser.

Damn shame true conservative states don’t have an early say in deciding the party nominees. Iowa always goes 1st so they are always promised subsidized corn and pork. NH and then some other states that go democrat soon follow and before conservatives have a chance, the libs have pretty much decided who the nominees of both parties are going to be. McCain is a good example of how this hurts conservatives. The clown was an absolute horrible choice for republicans.
