FR not loading -- caused by Java update?

About an hour ago someone complained that FR wasn't fully displaying on his computer. I checked on some longer threads as well as the comments display, and it was working fine for me. I'm using Firefox Beta 23 on Win 7.
Then, I happened to update my Java to Java 7 Release 25. Lo and behold, the partial display bug appeared for me when I checked back into FR.
The same problem exists when I use Chrome, so I presume it's the Java update that's causing the problem. Has anyone else noticed this behavior?

Its an FR glitch that pops up about once per week.
Change your page view from text to headers and it works better.

Actually now that you mention it, I’ve seen the same thing.
My system has had, no new updates.

Have the same problem, Win7, Firefox 21. No Java installed, so that isn’t it.

well. have been running java 7 (not 25 however) for several months and have been intermittantly experiencing the bug. maybe you’re on to something.

Just the infrequent missing headline sidebar and the page doesn’t scroll very far down. Seen both conditions before and I also just installed the newer JABA so don’t know. It was installed last week and FR was fine this a.m. but now has the sidebar/scroll thingy.

Another quick fix is to limit results per page to 20. Never a problem under that setting.

I’m seeing the same thing on Opera v12.15, since about 7:25pm. I just switched to 20 views/pg, for now.
