Last year, the wife and I vacationed in the Southern Appalachians. I drove up to Clingman's Dome at 6600 ft. and hiked around a bit on the AT. Problem is, I'm a birder, and I couldn't walk more than 10 steps without stopping and watching for any new birds.
After three hours, I went about 300 meters. Lol!
Got a LOT of great birds, though...
I like looking at birds and waterfalls.
And after thirty years of using binoculars, I like Steiners.
