your child, your business. But if you put your kid into that cesspool, do NOT bitch at what they do to her.

Just don’t. You know better as a freeper so you will have brought it on your child and on yourself. What is it with Freepers who come online looking to absolve themselves for their willingly liberal actions when they KNOW they are helping perpetuate this insanity?

Girl Scouts... no way

She’ll learn all about Planned Parenthood, sexual freedom, Wicca and every other leftist crap at the Girl Scouts.

and they will even learn its okay to spread HIV-AIDS without telling your partner.

Here is a pamphlet left behind after a Girl Scout confab at the UN

Brownies are still part of Girl Scouts and their philosophies, just like Cub Scouts are part of Boy Scouts.

I’m surprised the leaders in scouts for girls are doing this. Page 10 and a few others are pretty strong. I thought the kids were getting all this in first grade.

So he posts a question as to what options he has and then you accuse him of throwing his kid into a cesspool. Nice.

There are a lot of options, and FR is full of opinions on all of them. I’d say the key is for you to be involved - personally. If you are there and deciding what to do, then almost any group will be good for her. If you use this as free babysitting, then almost any group can and will be derailed by someone with an agenda. My daughters were Girl Scouts, and my wife was there for every moment of it - they never crossed the line or even came close. My kids were Boy Scouts, and again, I was there for every meeting and camping trip. Parenting is a 24/7 job, and even the organizations we grew up trusting the most are in Reagan’s “trust but verify” category.

IIRC the Girl Scouts officially went homosexual quite a while ago.

Girl scouts have changed so very much since my girls participated...I would NOT do it today. I was a leader at all levels, camp director, and even served on the Board. I could not do it now.

I also could not tolerate the school programs and would certainly homeschool.

Many churches have similar programs as do music or sports groups that interest the children. I have little knowledge of “Y” programs currently being run by the YWCA or YMCA.

Boy Scouts for my grandson has been good...he is done this year so the recent changes will not affect him...I hope.

Where I have a problem with the GSA is not their politics, because I never bothered to look them up. My daughter. is only 2. I have a problem with cookie sales. I know it sounds dumb, but I assume someone is getting filthy rich on this enterprise on the backs of small girls. Seems like the troop receives a smaller amount of the percentage of their sales. Their headquarters is a very large office building which is contrary to the BSA. I know every club has fund raisers. BSA relies on heavy donations from former scouts.

Is putting your kid into GS or the BSA exposing them to a cespool or isn’t it?

Are you seriously saying that anyone who has spent more than 5 min on FR does not know that the GS and BSA are a planned barrenhood/gay recruiting ground?

Can you in any way shape or form tell me ONE good thing about willingly corrupting your child with that?

No?

Then what exactly is your problem? Are we supposed to soft pedal people and their ‘feelings’ when they ask something like this?

Actually, I’ll take it a ‘reality’ step further. If I come to you and say “I got this group that teaches girls to screw whoever they want, abort the ‘result’, ignore their parents and their faith and recruits other girls to do the same.”

Are you gonna tell me “SURE!?

Well that has what GS has become. So Why would you have an issue with someone who tried stopping more kids being corrupted?
