Being a porn star might not meet the approval of everyone you meet but you might think your bank manager would be one person who wouldn't have cause to complain.

Adult film actress Chanel Preston has starred in close to 150 porn flicks and is well compensated for her time, but now it appears she is having trouble keeping a bank account.

Maybe the banks don't want the competition.

Thing is they freely associate with the perversion that is the Democrat party so their claims of morality ring pretty damn hollow.

I wonder how much ‘support’ the porn industry will give the Dems in 2014. The USSC has determined that Porn is legal so they don’t need to pay off the dems. In fact, it was dem admins in Cali that went all mafia on them and drove a bunch to Vegas and Florida.

And in the past they were big donors. Flynt more than most. With the Dem controlled banks turning on a multi billion dollar industry....well....gonna be fun to watch.

Not to mention that JP Morgan Chase (mentioned in the article), Bank of America, HSBC, etc etc, have all been caught and some fined for knowingly laundering money for the Mexican drug cartels.
Too big to fail is cool if you can be classified as such.

They fake morality.

Several times my sister has recieved small to medium checks from bank “settlements” because these moral banks were cheating customers.

Got one today, as a matter of fact, from something about overdrafts... $3.87 .. lol

You have a point. Can anyone imagine the local bank president in the 1940s or 50s, knowingly making loans or opening accounts for the porn industry, or for Mexican crime gangs?
In those days the local bank president was a memnber of the community, maybe went to your church.

I can understand Los Angeles banks turning down mortgages for talent in the area, since the condom law passed in LA last year is basically going to force all production to move elsewhere... placing mortgaged homes at a higher risk.

IMO not serving actors inporn is fine if you also don’t serve their customers. To only reject the actor is worse than criminalizing prostitutes but not their johns, insofar that porn is legal.

I wonder if she was Dem or Rep? Also, I would imagine the porn industry to be rather pro-1st and 2nd Amend. and for small, less intrusive govt. So I wonder if there are more fiscally conservative porn stars, you know, other than all the illicit sex.

But how so they know? They don’t inhabit any place in my world, so I would know them, their faces, their names. Wonder how the bank officials knew.
