Almost every country leads the World in some single field.
Tiny Sweden does not have the best cuisine on the planet, neither do we Swedes enjoy the highest salaries on Earth and Sweden could not, rightfully, claim to house the World's most beautiful landscapes.
Italians eat better (forget about France, Italy has a way better climate for nearly every kind of food production and Italians are even more concerned when it comes to "mangiare bene"; eating well).
Danes are paid higher wages than any other people including the Norwegians and the Swiss (but having traveled around some in Denmark, I can't say I'm that very impressed with their material standard of living).
Norway is more beautiful than Sweden. While Sweden indeed is a country of splendid natural scenery and probably has a more varied countryside than any other European nation, spare Russia, 99% of all Swedes would admit Norway is the most Beautiful country on Earth.
My Sweden is a World leader in stealth technology (more specifically in the departments of warships, submarines and drones), car security and performance (check out Volvo, Autoliv and - especially in the domain of performance - Koenigsegg), medical research (Astra Zeneca, Karolinska Institute) and also in a wide array of engineering areas. While IKEA and H&M are not making money on selling high-end, high quality products, most other large Swedish corporations are devoted to this. For instance, if you buy a Swedish made ABU Garcia fishing reel and leave it on the bottom of a lake for 25 years, it will still function perfectly. A Chinese made reel won't.
The Swedish economy nowadays is performing very well since we got rid of Socialism, lowered taxes and made it easier to run businesses, but the most exciting thing about living in Sweden is not the money, the long, magical summer nights when the sun doesn't set at all, nor is it the technological development and devotion to high quality in all aspects of production.
At least not if you are into gorgeous women, which I admit to be.
But Swedish women aren't just pretty.
This is why I prefer Swedish women to all others:
1. While several polls have concluded that Swedish women are more left-wing oriented than we Swedish males are, it's not that bad. If you give them proper attention and excercise a little courtesy and tenderness, you could make them change their opinions on political issues, as well as being able to steer their minds in other directions on a broader level, as they, in fact, are genuinely open-minded. It's about knowledge of the female mind. As a male, you should guide her intellect. She wants you to. A former Socialist/Liberal Swedish woman will one day thank you for having bothered to enlighten her. To her, it shows you care about more important things in life than watching TV and binge drinking with your daft friends.
2. We guys like to speak about how good we are at all sorts of things, especially at making money. However, while most women pay attention when this particular topic comes up on a first date, Swedish women care much more about what kind of father you would become to her children. Swedish Elin Nordegren, former wife of Tiger Woods, is an exception to this rule.
3. Swedish women make their own money. Although women earn less than men do in my country, the average monthly income of a Swedish woman is over $ 4000, which I deem pretty okay. You don't have to finance her shopping habits and as a married couple, you could live in a much nicer house and own a summerhouse as well – something which wouldn't be possible if she planned to make a career as a housewife.
4. You can actually have a rational conversation with a Swedish lady. Most Swedish women are politically correct and many of them claim to be Feminists, but instead of going hysterical upon confronted with basic logic, they often try and come up with intelligent arguments in support of their views. In many cases, intelligent people could be convinced to rethink, so that's fine with me. It's just a matter of time. What I, personally, don't have time for is stupid bxxxxs.
5. Today, average, middle class women of Sweden go for three kids. This means they will outbreed immigrant women in the long run. In fact, Rinkeby, a notorious immigrant neighborhood in Stockholm (capital of Sweden and largest city in Scandinavia), displays the lowest birth rates in that urban region while the area of Södermalm, which is almost totally inhabitated by ethnic Swedes, boasts the higest ones.
6. Most women in the industrialized world use makeup. In many cases makeup, as well as plastic surgery, work wonders for female appearence, but Swedish women really don't need these artificial aids to look great. What I'd like to say to all Swedish beauties who spend money on such stuff is: - Why alter perfection? You don't need a silicone job. If you have that kind of money to spend on getting appreciation from men, buy me a beer instead!
7. In general, Swedish women are extremely intelligent and well educated. As a young man, I didn't care much about the educational levels and brains of the women I dated. But if you actually are going to LIVE with a specific woman, you'll soon find out you'll do a lot better if she is intelligent rather than stupid.
8. They dress well and make a classy impression. French and Italian women too are well educated and spend a lot of money on clothes, but I'd say Swedish women are much better at foreign languages, travel more and furthermore maintain a more individual approach to fashion. If I were to have dinner with a prominent person, I would prefer to bring a Swedish lady – or perhaps a lady from another Nordic country – to the occasion rather than a woman from somewhere else.
9. Like Shakespeare wrote ”Age cannot wither her” (in Antony and Cleopatra). This really goes for the women of the North. Greta Garbo and Ingrid Bergman still belonged to the World's most beautiful women when they were in their 50s. Compare to south European and Middle East females who often are beautiful around 20, but look like old hags soon after having turned 30 (okay, Sophia Loren did not).
10. You could rely on a woman of Swedish origin, if any. We all tell lies and break promises, but I seriously claim Swedish women are more honest and more reliable than women of any other nationality with the possible exception of the other Nordic countries (Denmark, Norway, Iceland and Finland). We are honest in business and we are honest in personal relations. This is true concerning both men and women in my corner of the World. In Viking/Nordic culture it pays off to act as a responsible and reliable person and I believe this is one of the reasons our societies are well-ordered and affluent.

I pity you and will not consult your ophtamologist. But perhaps you should.
Of all the places I’d been in my younger days, Stockholm was in my top three for running into stunning women while doing normal day to day things. It’s been a long time since I reviewed that list. I’d love to go back and find out if that is still true.
The brunette in ABBA was actually Norwegian.
Interesting life story. Her mother was 19 and had a fling with a Nazi soldier in occupied Norway. She had his child after he was shipped back to der Fatherland.
A couple years later she died of a kidney ailment.
Nazi collaborators and their bastard children were not treated very kindly in post-war Norway, so her grandmother took her to Sweden to raise her in peace. Years later the German equivalent of People Magazine located her father and ran this story back in the 70’s. She did meet and form some relationship with him until he died about a decade ago.
I recall stopping at a restaurant in Sweden that had an English-language menu that described the special of the day as "force meat." We did some inquiries before ordering it, to make sure the meat didn't come from a species which rhymes with "force."
Someone I once worked with told me, “How could two such beautiful girls be so disease laden”. I was stunned but his experience with Swedish women always pops into my head. That aside, I’m not sure about the claim since anyone can shop for the right pictures to post. My wife is Brasilian but trips to Brasil prove that not all Brasilian women are beautiful, at least on the outside.
To save myself from the scorn that is sure to follow, let me say the ALL women (except Madeline Albright) are beautiful.

Most of the other stuff is a deal killer for all but hipster males. They make their own money...that is not a plus for me. But yes...some are very pretty...legs and boobs..and thin...the trifecta
