Just had a not alone visit by my 24yo step daughter. Not alone for sure, here to hit up mom for some cash; driving a hand me down car; on every public assistance program known to human kind with no job or education but with many friends in the same social circle who are in the same boat with no ambitions to be productive members of society.
They just drift along, don't they. Get just enough money from the government to eat, pay the rent, and feed the baby.
The Welfare State seems to stunt people's development at the very bottom rung of Maslow's Heirarchy of Needs.
