An uproar ensued last year when a woman died from blood poisoning after she was refused an abortion.
Typical AP twaddle. She died because of blood poisoning unrelated to her pregnancy.
You might as well say 'she died of blood poisoning after driving a Renault'

(I once saw a movie where only the police and military had guns. It was called 'Schindler's List'.)
AP always gets their cues from the European left, who has been pushing this particular narrative ever since that woman died.
