Nothing new here. When Gaddafi seized power in 1969 (we had already cratered Wheelus AFB, IIRC) he announced that Italian WWII cemeteries would be dug up and desescrated (something King Idris would never have done). The Italian government sent in graves details to recover their war dead and the Italian military came along to insure that this mission would not be interfered with.

It was a lot harder for them to destroy the cross. And it will be harder still to destroy The Cross, since Christ has already conquered the world.
I DON’T expect anything different - but perhaps some of the people who have been blinded by the islamist apologists in the West might start seeing things a little differently if stories like this get more exposure.
