After NBA player Jason Collins broke that barrier this week, the National Football League is making sure it will be ready for any coming out party.

Earlier this year, at least three college football players said they had been asked about their sexual orientation during NFL recruitment interviews, sparking calls for the NFL to do more to fight discrimination.

Just hours before Collins' coming out statement was published by Sports Illustrated on Tuesday, the NFL - America's most popular sport, with $9 billion a year in revenue - released a ‘workplace conduct statement' regarding sexual orientation.

Being an outspoken follower of Christ, however, is NOT welcome in the NFL.

It’s the old joke coming true. Tight ends becoming wide receivers.

I’ll never watch the NFL again.

President Celebritard today said that sports are important in American life. SPORTS ARE IMPORTANT? In a world where Islamonazis are killing our ambassadors/diplomats/children?

Bread and circuses from the boy king.

Everybody wants to play center!

I've said it for years: Roger Goodell is a pussy. Somewhere, Pete Rozelle is weeping.....

Hunter S. Thompson was permitted by ESPN to call the abuses at Abu Ghraib more horrifying than the worst war crimes of the NAZIs but oooh, that Rush Limbaugh. He’s so divisive, you know!

Well, suddenly a bunch of sweaty guys chasing each other around a football and grabbing each other has a whole new meaning. That leads me to no longer want to watch football.

When I see a beer commercial showing two fruits hugging during a football game I am going to spew.

Something must be in the water.

Everybody suddenly wants a queer around.

sports (as fun as they can be) are NOT important activities for a President of the USA.
national defense against his MuslimBrother/AlQuaida/Hezbellah/PA/Hamas/Etcetera pals... that IS his primary duty, if but he would only get on the right side of it!!

not only did we NOT elect him to be a sports fan or sports cheerleader, we did not elect him to lead the “transformation” of American sports into his idea of a gay sex party

for that, he could have stayed in that Chicago bath house (and left us out of it!)

I've always believed that the "watching other men play sports" thing was gay to begin with. Playing the game yourself, fine. obsessively watching other guys playing the game is odd to me.

It's a kid game; great in high school, fine during college/military service teams, but ridiculous for grown men.

After the NFL pulled this crap, maybe more will come to their senses and avoid "Professional football".

I’ve never been an NFL fan myself. I’ll watch my college alum fight it out on Saturdays and an occasional NASCAR race, but sports anymore have become soapboxes for leftist commentators.

There are now awards for supporting the issue...

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/early-lead/wp/2013/04/30/vikings-punter-chris-kluwe-wins-webby-award-for-online-support-of-gay-marriage/

Minnesota Vikings punter Chris Kluwe scored another (off-the-field) award Tuesday, getting a Webby for his online work supporting same-sex marriage.

The award came a day after a breakthrough in gender issues in sports yesterday, when NBA center Jason Collins announced he was gay, the first active player in a major men’s American sport league to do so.

Football preparing the ground for first gay players [NFL Pushing Sodomy Celebration]

Hey, they're already very heavily in the Susan Komen pink-this-and-pink-that crap that helps to fund a huge part of Planned Predators. So, why not invest in sodomy too.

Other than my poor Browns, I don't watch the NFL anymore . . . tired of their pushing cities around to build and maintain stadiums for them, co-celebrating Susan Komen abortion subsidizing, allowing women into the guy's locker rooms, etc.

Still quite pissed about the Rooney Rule . . . would rather watch college ball.
