Totally disturbing and disgusting. And we’re letting them do this to us!

It’s probably wrong to say that they are terrorist but a major U.S city was shut down in search of a boy. We’re clearly being lied to

Such "exigent circumstances" can and will be used as an excuse for ever-broader Tyrannical searches on the part of the State.

Just wait until they cordon off an entire city when conducting house-to-house searches due to some more of these "exigent circumstances."

And you'll be out there with your pom poms cheering them along all the while, because, after all, the law is clear on these sorts of things.

Tyrannical law, that is. Coming soon to an "exigent circumstance" near you...

Funny how the ACLU brought up the “militarization” of police about a month before the attack and then went silent and no further mention was made.

Going to be interesting to see what their follow up is now.

If there isn’t any, why did they bring it up in the first place?

And they were pointing guns in the face of women and children because...they were suspects?

No, to force compliance.

The new America:
SHUTUP...
OBEY...
DISARM...

My sister-in-law lives in the area, and yesterday she said people are quite angry about the way searches were handled.

I've heard just the opposite from my friends in MA.

They're getting really pissed at conservatives out here calling them sheep and calling the men who put their lives on the line for them "terrorists" and suchlike.

You really think they needed 9000 heavily armed cops to be protected?

I was appalled that the Boston sheeple applauded the police after such a sorry display. Unprecedented force on innocent civilians. A man walking outside of his house caught the guy. The moron police showed up and hailed the boat with machine gun fire. My 10 year old could do that. All the police did was bully the citizens and collect overtime.

That’s what Americans do when terrorists blow our people up. We meet them with overwhelming force.

You’re missing the point. When Castro overthrew the government he WAS protecting people (Many of them believed this if not everyone). The same is true for Qadaffi and Chavez. You simply cannot deny that many of the dictators had broad support at the beginning. If you really think that 9000 heavily armed cops and a full day lock down is over kill I don’t know what to tell you. It’s simply not reasonable in a free society in my opinion. Searching someones private home because the city needs to be safe is a good reason why the second amendment cannot be touched. When the government wants to silence the population will it look so much different that what happened on Friday?

The guy was bleeding out. A dog could have found him in 10 minutes.

Did they refrain from using dogs because the perp was a Muslim and would have been offended?

And the irony of it all is that with hundreds (if not thousands) of cops searching with several SWAT teams (I saw/heard of at least 6) they didn’t find the terrorist/perp until they LIFTED the “lock-down” and a guy went out for a smoke is his backyard & noticed his boat was tampered with. I am OK with a polite knock on the front door and “Is everything all right?” or “Have you seen this guy?” but that is about it.

Why are you baiting us? Are you bored? Sick? America’s slide into a police state is accelerating. We all see it. Whether you do or not makes no difference.

Exigent circumstances, my ass. Constitutional? My ass.

No search warrant means no uncontested entry to my house, ever.
