When I heard the news that the Senate had failed to pass a Universal Background Check, I was at a police seminar on the topic of active shooters. The panelists had agreed that active shooter was a poor descriptor, one noting that some attackers use other weapons, such as the blade-wielder in the recent Texas case.

Well, I have to agree that the chief tantrum thrower was a "little" upset Wednesday. A total m-bare-ass-ing moment for the entire country to see the king act like a petulant little 3 yr old because he didn't get his way. Break out the kleenex. Thanks for a nice blog Massad.

I was too busy gloating to be embarrassed during that “speech” (tantrum, really). But I’ve had my gloat so it’s back to work.

The panelists had agreed that active shooter was a poor descriptor, one noting that some attackers use other weapons, such as the blade-wielder in the recent Texas case. And home-made bombs in a more recent case in MA - so severe that the area required a shut down - in spite of massive 'outside' help. The result of allowing anyone 'in' with no screening of the obvious.

Some one had to replace algore as a sore loser as he is forgotten about. The liberals have to keep the tradition alive.

I am seeing that Obama has made good progress in the propaganda war despite our victory on the legislative front. I had a heated argument with two low info middle of the roader (female) types who definitely didn't share our exuberance over the legislative victory. I schooled them both but Obummer has clearly pushed their emotional buttons. They weren't swayed. I'm sure there's plenty of such people out there.
You would think that logic, facts, reason, and statistics would be enough to overcome raw emotions but once a person has made their mind up on something, it can be difficult to sway them.
So, having won the legislative battle, we should probably anticipate intense and meaningful fighting on the PR front. among other things.
My $.02 worth.

I've noticed that the liberal media has given his "press tantrum" very little airplay, I think even they realize that he came off as a pouty crybaby, and they just should bury it.

Oh, don't worry about those type, they will completely forget about Obama's gun control loss by the next episode of American Idol. That's the definition of a low-information voter, as soon as the media spotlight moves off a topic, they move their attention onto the next "shiny object".

Truth. The noise level of the sheep has gone up considerably. I’m close to “unfriending” my wife’s niece on FB because this normally non-political person has exploded in propaganda postings.

No doubt that there are scores of low info voters that will NOT be swayed. Common sense (one frikkin’ word) and logic are not anywhere in the lexicon and will not be tolerated by the ever tolerant radical left wing extremist demokkkrat scumbag socialists. I’m still driving the wrong way on PC Boulevard.

The other side is impervious to facts because they are emotion driven. Its becoming a dangerous situation.

Our side has trouble getting the actual facts out to the low info voters. They don’t subscribe to the American Rifleman. They aren’t freepers. They facebook and pinterest but they don’t freep and they get a fair share of, possibly the majority of, possibly all of their info from the likes of Chris Mathews, Rachel Madow, Kieth olberman, Wolf Blitzer, Soledad Obrian, Lawrence O’Donell, etc. It’s hard to get through that kind of propaganda.

Pretty sloppy title. I'm not willing to give that communist any title more prestigious than "former junior US Senator from Illinois". Also, the word "sore" is extraneous.
Obama is a sore loser.

Empty ammo cases seem the be “the new normal”. LOL! Lucky my closet isn’t empty but we have had to curtail our target practice due to price and sheer absence of product. Even some of the obscure stuff is getting scarce.
