Yet Jorge is still singing the virtues of “compassionate conservatism.” Look where that has gotten us.

I’m no fan of much of Bush’s strategy and policy but at least he didn’t put people like Napolitano and Holder in high office who have seemed more concerned with casting aspersions on an opposing political philosophy than protecting the nation.

Americans went into a deep, deep funk when Barack the Kenyan got “elected” the second time. I believe that it is the depression from the “election” that is causing all of this lunacy. JMO.

President Bush rightly saw the Islamofascist’s as the enemy and judged their attacks as acts of war.

The Marxist treats their attacks as “crimes.”

Fort Hood, The Diaper Bomber, Benghazi, bin-Laden’s SIL, and now Boston has suffered this terrorist attack.

I might add, that Barack is either a closet Moslem or a Moslem sympathizer.

Obama hasn’t failed. He has done exactly what he has set out to do.

And he has told you what he’ll do next.

AND. Now the statute of limitations has run out on his identity swindle, he’s home free. You are his lunch.

(For that statute of limitations thing, ask Mesta).

It’s so considerate of the Obama administration to bring the Arab Spring to the US for us to experience it first hand.

PULEZEEEE!!

If Bush had STOPPED all Muslim immigration, STOPPED all Muslims from visiting here except with special clearances and DEPORTED all Muslims who were not citizens as well as moving all suspicious Muslims here into camps, we wouldn't NEED a homeland security force and NONE of this crap - including the preceding failed attacks would have happened.

Remember Bush II’s ISLAM IS A PEACEFUL RELIGION speech???

And Obama thinks just like Bush only a hundred times over.

True. But it’s a pretty bitter “I told you so” moment, and I’m afraid there are more in our future, considering the clowns we’re saddled with for the next four years.

Ollie North testified about Osama Bin Laden in the late 1980s. OBL left his calling card on the US homeland at the first WTC attack in February 1993. In spite of that, Bill Clinton did nothing about OBL/Al-Queda, despite being offered OBL’s head on a platter. And then there was the USS Cole attack in 2000.

Bill Clinton obviously failed. But in light of all the above, that GWB wasn’t more on the ball vis-a-vis Al Queda was equally inexcusable, IMHO. GWB was more invested in that horrendous 2001 Farm Bill than he ever was in securing the homeland against Islamists after eight years of Clinton negligence. GWB = epic fail also.

President Bush failed to understand, or worse understood and failed to act on, the war that was declared against us.

Because of his failure, we are still at war, a war that should have been fought and won in a few years, and because of the nature of war and western society, we are now much weaker.

“George W. Bush kept the homeland safe for nearly eight years following the terror attacks of 9/11, right up until the end of his term as President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. Barack Hussein Obama has now FAILED, and that FAILURE is the direct result of his hatred for America and its military, and his policies of weakness and appeasement.”

Truer words were never spoken; and Obama’s done the same thing to the economy that he’s done for American safety.

And we owe a big, big THANK YOU! to all the *ssholes who voted for the destruction of America - not once, but twice.

>>>George W. Bush kept the homeland safe for nearly eight years following the terror attacks of 9/11

I am going to disagree with you. Afghanistan? A must fight war...a war we needed to spend treasure and lives on...but yet a war which was NOT fight correctly from the start by the Bush administration or our generals. It was fought politically...and those of us who serve (or have served...I am going on 26 years) can see it a mile away.

Iraq? A waste. All it did in the long run was make Iran more powerful when in fact they needed to be dismantled. We chose the soft target in hopes democracy would spread into Iran from Iraq...which was a HORRIBLY DUMB strategy. This wasted OUR treasure and OUR lives.

These loss of LIVES and this loss of treasure WEAKENS our homeland. It scars our country. And when you do not strike fear into the heart of your enemy...you embolden them. You further strengthen their resolve. This is NOT keeping the homeland safe because even though those young men and women may be in a distant land...they are still part of our homeland. Useless death because of political strategery does not = safety at home. It empowers the enemy and that enemy will rise up and one day...you will have to deal with them here.

It really is this simple: When you fight a war (whether you start it (Iraq) or get pulled into it (Afghanistan))...you fight to win...not to win "hearts and minds if the religion of peace..." but to win. Period. If you do not...you are not keeping the people at home safe. Rather, you are putting them at even greater risk.

Pray for our country. The only thing that can save us now is genuine repentance and a return to God.

Just where was Obama when the bomb went off? What did he do, how long did he wait, did he finish what he was doing? Actually, this is the third Islamic terrorist attack on American soil on Obama’s watch, we demand some answers.

George W. Bush kept the homeland safe for nearly eight years following the terror attacks of 9/11, right up until the end of his term as President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.

Yeah if you ignore the guy who shot up the El Al ticket counter in LA in 2002. The guy who tried to bomb the Oklahoma football game in 2005. The guy who drove a car bomb onto the University of North Carolina campus in 2006. The bombing of the Time Square recruiting office and the Dalton Georgia law office in 2008. And, of course, his record after September 10, 2001 is hardly sterling.

Obama doesn't keep us safe. Neither did George Bush. The police keep us safe, and the FBI and all the rest of law enforcement. The do it regardless of who is in the White House. And if you look around at the rest of the world I'd say they're doing a damned good job of it.
