Most atheists I have interacted with are people who are angry with God.

It is odd that many atheists seem to have such an emotional investment in what they term as a mythical being.

Why invest so much energy in battle with people you think foolish for believing in a mythical being. Unless a person is trying to evangelize you why discuss God at all. I certainly do not spend time discussing or thinking of the existence of Zeus.

Speaking of evangelism; why the evangelistic fervor for so many atheist? Why does it bother them so much for another person to believe in God?

Yes...I agree.

A TRUE “atheist” wouldn’t care.

Your example of “Zeus” is a very good one.

And even if there were a segment of the population who insisted upon worshiping Zeus and believing upon him for their salvation, I would probably share my Faith with them in love, but not be ‘offended” by their persistence in their “Zeusianity”. It is, after all, a free country...so far.

Of course, if Zeusianity became the State Religion, and if I were forbidden to practice MINE, there WOULD be a problem.

Whichs brings a question.

Would Biggs be offended if his boson were dubbed “The Zeus Particle”?
