I don’t think that’s the case at this level...maybe at non big time schools - regardless of what articles said. This is right in my wheel house.

yeah, I don’t pull for either team, but I’ve been kind of excited about this one all day.

basetball has an awful lot of non big time schools ~ this is a far different recruiting environment than you have with football.

And far fewer player too....I really don’t think you know what you’re talking about here. Besides, TV money has not dropped during this recession, and that’s the big driver of budgets, along with the big stadia of the large state schools.

Well that’s true to a point...but I suspect that college sports are actually less corrupt than all the transgender studies and African studies departments in the sacrosanct “academy.”

Good game so far. Looking for a Michigan win by at least 6 points.

If they keep hitting 70% of the three’s....it’ll be more than six.

college sports keep a lot of conservatives from seeing how corrupt big education is over all

1) make unlimited taxpayer subsidized interest rate funds available to students

2) raise tuition rates to absorb available funds

3) pay progressive profs and admins exorbitant salaries

4) profs and admins donate to Democrats

and repeat

Of course having a terrible economy where McDonalds is looking for 4 yr grads as grille line supvs helps too as EVERYONE is convinced they need an expensive 4/5 yr degree to even sniff a job.

You do realize that not just the big schools have the big gyms in the Midwest. This is the way sports are conducted ~ football imports all its players these days.

Yeah it’s another HUGE Democrat scam that never seems to get talked about.

The ideas of college being essential and absolute need for unlimited govt loan supply are just gospel to the MSM.

The progressives are far smarter than most folks on FR give them credit for.

You know one of them already did that, don't you?

With age, my memory has become a bit fractured (compounded by a lack of sleep) but I seem to recall a recent hubbub over a player's particularly bad fall.
