First their lead singer now him. For some reason, I don’t know why I liked their music.

Because we were responsible and they were good along with other great rock and roll bands I/we grew up with.

“... I don’t know why I liked their music”.

The other day, I was driving to pick up the kids and “Dirty Deeds” came on the radio. I was rocking out... windows open and blaring the song. TNT was also a favorite.

Because nobody came up with better riffs than Angus.

RIP Neil Smith. Thanks EveningStar.

AC/DC has been around 40 years, and that’s not by accident.

[snip] Back in Black has sold an estimated 50 million units worldwide, making it the second-highest-selling album by any artist – behind only Michael Jackson’s Thriller – and the highest-selling album by any band. The album has sold 22 million units in the U.S. alone, where it is the sixth-highest-selling album of all time. [/snip]

Up yours, Pink Floyd.

The first time I heard “You Shook Me”, I swear to God I thought it was Bob Seger.

True, but I think it’s time for Angus to drop the schoolboy outfit.

Listen to Seger’s vocals on “Her Strut” then tell me they don’t sound the same.

No way do they sound the same....Brian Johnson always sounds like he’s yelling when he sings and Bob Segar’s voice is passionate and from the heart. Can you imagine Brian Johnson singing Main Street?

I was always impressed with how much music they made with as few chords they used. Turning a chord riff around, yet still using the same chords....
