I turned down 1.5 trillion.
She’s an embarrassment to womanhood.
This is a claim in a lawsuit, so who knows if the offer was ever really tendered or if it was just discussed.....
The GOP has to change its image of being a bunch of stodgy, irrelevant old white guys. We need to embrace Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Snoop Doggie Dogg, etc. to appeal to young people—at least that’s what the MSM’s pundits are saying.
It's like when some liberal nasty (Nancy Pelosi, Sandra Frack, or whomever) states publically that she is "receiving death threats."
The obvious conclusion is that the death threats are coming from conservative, although no proof is ever offered that the death threats even exist, and no investigation is done to find the source of the death threats.
To me this sounds like an Alinksy tactic. It's cheap, can't be countered, harms the other side (us), and will be picked up by the agenda-driven MSM.
It’s a well known fact that Karl Rove, John McCain, da Bushes, etc, are big fans of the Ga Ga. /S
I thought this was an April Fool’s joke?
So what? and April fool...
Why would we invite Lady Ga Ga and her littke monsters, much less Dolly Parton and whoever pitbull is?
I call BS on this article...
Scarier is that Pit Bull was also considered. That dude is one goofy-ass goofball
The source documents (https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B-gpr9D_hdCEN19jUFhaemZWRm8/preview) show that, on April 21, 2012, they discussed the idea of offering Lady Gaga $1M to appear on at the convention on Monday, August 27. There is nothing further in the documents to indicate that they did in fact approach her.
The GOP planners may have looked at Lady Gaga’s schedule and realized that she wasn’t available, or they may have contacted her and found out she wasn’t available. On April 27, 2012, Lady Gaga was in Seoul, South Korea, performing in the first of a series of international concerts. On August 27, the date the GOP wanted her for, she was performing in Helsinki.
A lot of performers are booked months in advance. I didn’t try to find out what Dolly Parton had going that week, but she may have had previous commitments too.
