GOP on roll with red state growth

Last week, the national Republican Party issued a report on why it lost the 2012 presidential election. The report belongs in the paper shredder. Look at a map of the U.S., and you’ll see why. The Republican Party is already on the way to dominating presidential politics. Red states are on the rise, and blue states are sinking.

In politics, demography is destiny. The biggest mistake the GOP could make is to change course and abandon its current policies. It will soon control an Electoral College majority.

Americans are voting with their feet to live in Republican-run states with low taxes, pro-business environments and job-producing fossil-fuel production. This migration will produce a huge gain for the GOP in congressional seats and Electoral College votes. The U.S. Census shows that from 2000 to 2010, Americans fled Democratic-controlled states on the East Coast, the West Coast, and the Great Lakes region to make their homes in Republican-controlled states with pro-growth policies.

A map of the U.S. proves the Republican Party is not on the wane. Americans want growth. They know Republican governors — now presiding in 30 out of the 50 state capitols — are making it happen.

Worst of all, last week’s report suggested that to attract minority voters, the GOP should hire Hispanic and African-American communications directors for each state. Wrong again. The Democratic Party is about hiring quotas. The GOP stands for colorblind fairness — hiring people and voting for people based on content of their character, not the color of their skin.

Next time the GOP wants to know about winning, ask the winners — the Republican governors. They are presiding over the rise of the Republican Party.

Why not have such a positive outlook on the Republican Party when it seems that at least one Republican elected official comes out and supports Gay Marriage every day and immigration policies supported by Republicans will ensure that California, New York, Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio and soon Texas continue to vote Democrat in presidential elections?

Since production of virtually all that is useful comes from the red states, we can look forward to a near future secession of the good states (red - of course) and watch the blue states sink into a state of third-worldness.

Following their collapse, we invade, guillotine all progressives, and restore prosperity and happiness.

Oh, with respect to guillotining the progressives, remember - double tap. Can’t be too sure.

What matters is less demographic shift that will those who have been ruined by Democrats be smart enough to stop voting for Democrats?

Since the blue states won’t change and will remain blue, this threatens to make some of the red states more purple.

I am reminded of a small migration of Californians who decided to move to rural Utah, so that they could build a McMansion, have low taxes, and escape the political collapse of California.

Within two weeks they were bored to tears, and wanted to import all the vices they had enjoyed in California. Adult movie stores, strip clubs, bars and discos, etc.

Needless to say, the rural Utahans wanted nothing to do with such dreck, so loudly said “No!” to these ideas.

So to this day, in rural Utah, you will find slowly decaying McMansions, abandoned and on the market for so long their “for sale” signs have fallen down.

What nitwit wrote this?? The demographics are AGAINST us. Stay the course? The GOP will be extinct in ten years. We no longer need people that think like this. Good grief.

1965 - The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 (Hart-Celler Act, INS, Act of 1965, Pub.L. 89–236) abolished the National Origins Formula that had been in place in the U.S. since the Emergency Quota Act of 1920. At the height of the civil rights movement of the 1960s the law was seen as an embarrassment by, among others, POTUS #35 JFK, who called the then-quota-system "nearly intolerable". Some historians thought that JFK saw a chance for retaliation in response to the anti-Irish Catholic bigotry by WASPs he encountered as a younger man. After Kennedy's assassination, POTUS #36 LBJ signed the bill at the foot of the Statue of Liberty as a symbolic gesture. In order to convince the American populace - the majority of who were opposed to the act - of the legislation's merits, its liberal proponents assured that passage would not influence America's culture significantly. POTUS #36 LBJ called the bill "not revolutionary", SoS Dean Rusk estimated only a few thousand Indian immigrants over the next 5 years, and other politicians, including Senator Ted Kennedy, hastened to reassure the populace that the demographic mix would not be affected; these assertions would later prove wildly inaccurate.

1965 – U.S. population was 87.8% white and 10.5% black.

2012 – More U.S. babies were born to minorities than whites.

2012 - D.C. (DemoNrat), HI (DemoNrat), CA (DemoNrat), NM (DemoNrat), and TX (GOP) had minority populations >50%.

2012 - U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) began issuing green cards (permanent legal resident) to same sex spouses.

2013 – U.S. population is 63% white and 13% black. (a 24.8% decrease of whites over 48 years since the passage of the 1965 Hart-Celler Act)

2013 - >45% of students in K-12 are minorities.

2013 – Democrats in Congress are attempting to reform U.S. immigration law so that it covers homosexuals illegally in the U.S. and provide them a path to full citizenship.

2018 - U.S. Census Bureau projects the number of non-white children in K-12 will be >50%.

2020 - 8 more states (AZ GOP-2012), FL (DemoNrat), GA (GOP-2012), MD (DemonRat), MS (GOP-2012), NV (DemoNrat), NJ (DemoNrat), and NY (DemoNrat)) are projected to become minority majority.

2024 - The white population is projected to peak at 200 million before entering a steady decline in absolute numbers.

2039 - Racial and ethnic minorities will make up a majority of the U.S. work-age population. They will be helping to support a disproportionately elderly white population through Social Security and other payroll taxes. More than 1 in 4 people ages 18-64 will be latino.

2043 – Whites are projected to decline to <50% of the population. Racial and ethnic minorities will collectively become a U.S. majority. Hispanics will drive most of the minority growth, due mostly to high birth rates, jumping in share from 17 % (2013) to 26%.
