Omaha police displayed an unbridled street gang brazenness when they chased a man who was video recording them abusing his brother into a private home, confiscating his phone and arresting him to ensure their actions would never see the light of day.

However, another citizen captured the entire incident on video from a second-floor window, ensuring at least the façade of an internal investigation.

And I’m supposed to disarm myself and trust these gorillas to protect me? Who’s going to protect me from THEM?

These days you should pretty much assume that anything you do in public will be captured on video.

If they've done nothing wrong, what could they possibly have to hide?

How's that for turning statist logic back on the state?

We call this:

Felony Assault
Felony Battery
Felony Kidnapping
Felony Armed Robbery
Felony Breaking and Entering
Using a Firearm during the commission of a VIOLENT FELONY

Every cop there should be in Prison for not less than 30 years, personally I would ask for LIFE and maybe even the Death Penalty for their FELONY GANG BEHAVIOR.

There are Federal charges which could be brought, also. See 18USC242.

Welcome to the new Obama Police State folks.

This is what happens when you DON’T fight back! I hope these lame f**ks go to prison for a very long time.

I wonder if they are “Oath Keepers”?

Question is, which Oath are they keeping?

Who is the biggest thug?

Boy, do I feel safe.

The number of cops involved pretty much eliminates the one bad apple excuse.

At least 15 officers...

I want to know what happened to the confiscated video. If it suddenly "didn't exist" when the cops didn't know about the second video, they should be charged with obstruction.

Any destruction of a video of the police, by the police, should be a serious crime.

Camera systems with software motion detection and automatic uploads to remote servers are much less expensive and easy study in preparation for self-installations. Free operating systems and software are great for those. Cameras that work well in very low light conditions can be had for as little as about $100 (need sealing/weatherizing), last I looked (couple of years ago). It’s a fun kind of project for the private property and home, too.

Police pretty much are a gang, complete with colors, turf, us-against-them mentality, lingo, initiation rites, you name it.

That’s frightening. It looks like they had about a third of the day shift at that house — overwhelming force in a matter of minutes.

The Public Integrity Section in the Department of Justice is the office that prosecutes corrupt public officials—worthy of much more funding, unlike most other offices, but usually short of funding. The many offices that regulate against more productive activities get enormous amounts of funding.

Who’s going to protect me from THEM?

That is precisely why the Founders wrote the 2nd Amendment...to protect citizens from the state...a state which insists police are there to protect the citizens when, in fact, they "protect" no one who is being attacked, robbed, assaulted, raped and murdered. When seconds count, the police are minutes away.

The city cam get the checkbook out now.

As an aside, if there were that many cops available to respond to this, Omaha has too many cops.

Corruption that goes unchecked in Omaha. Mayor Suttle is on-board with taking guns from law-abiding citizens. Police chief says they are investigating this incident.

What is going on? I scrolled 9 posts and not one of them were made by the cops-can-do no-wrong crowd. They are usually on these threads by no later than the third post.
