"‘Walking Dead’ preview: Glen Mazzara on the Dixon brothers’ fate....

"Last week on “The Walking Dead,” yet another character departed from the roster in an unexpected moment, a casualty of the Governor’s quest for revenge. You might say, though, that the surprise was hardly surprising. After all, departing show runner Glen Mazzara has said repeatedly that no one in the world of the hit AMC series is safe. But surely, some people might be a little safer than others. Like, say, Daryl Dixon.

Mazzara conceded to Hero Complex that he’s heard from plenty of audience members who promise to revolt should anything happen to Norman Reedus’ fan-favorite character. ....but he did promise a more detailed examination of the nature of their relationship in the coming episodes. (Click through the gallery of images above to get an early look at Sunday night’s episode, “I Ain’t No Judas.”)

Yep. Didn’t know his name but he’s one of my favorites too. I’ve seen him in other shows playing a completely different type of character and he’s good no matter what role he plays. Killing him off would not be a good idea...

They couldn’t kill Lori (or is it Laurie?) fast enough for me...

Better take Merle in.

One redneck good, two rednecks better.

Let me pose a question...Rick admitted that he was seeing an hallucination of his wife. If you know it's a hallucination doesn't that mean he knows its not real. So when he says that maybe it's a sign is that that something / somebody is trying to help lead them ???

Shane used to be the one on whom doing the difficult deeds fell, because no one else wanted to do them.

With Shane’s demise, those tasks fell to Daryl.

If something happens to Daryl, Carl seems to be the next one who has the intestinal fortitude to do them.

Carl has really manned up this season. Last week, he was right in the thick of the gun battle between those in the prison and the governor.

i’d say Rick’s character is the most safe, you can’t kill him.

Rick won’t die, but he most likely will lose an appendage.
In the comic, he loses a hand early on. I know that the TV show deviates greatly from the comic, but every now and then the try to bring the plot back to the comic.

Daryl is the best character on the show and even wasn’t even in the comic.

Puberty could be a bit rough.

I wonder where Catherine of Aragon is? Hope she didn’t forget this is Sunday. If anything happens to Darryl, we’ll have to give her a hand full of tranquilizerS.

WHERE ARE YOU, CATHERINE?

In five minutes before the show starts!

Forget about the WD....bite your tongue!

You’re right, they better lay off Daryl. Tonight I can’t wait to see Andrea’s visit to the prison (assuming it happens tonight). I’m giving that idiot one more chance.

What’s diff between Oscars and The Walking Dead?

One features corpses hungrily competing to uncover human flesh. The other is a zombie show.

Yep, I’m hoping Merle will work out as a member of the group after all.

And can we get Michonne out from under the overturned bus and into decent shelter with everybody else?
