There could be truth Russian radar didn't see it. Remember in 1987 that German kid Mathias Rust? He flew 400 miles under the radar in a Piper Cub airplane and landed right smack down in the middle of Red Square without so much as a howdy do. Man, I'll bet there were quite a number comrades who were rehabilitated over that one.
