My dad is 85 and also going through chemo. I keep waiting for him to tell me his insurance company will no longer pay. I know it’s coming and I dread it.

One of the members of the car club I belong to has already received his death sentence. He needs a new pacemaker and was told by his insurance company that “an independent panel” has determined he can’t be covered by the insurance. He’s retired and doesn’t have the money to pay for it himself.

It was all I could do to keep from bursting in tears when he told me. The fear in his eyes was heartbreaking.

Death Panels have tremendous upside for the fedgov.

Every year sliced off the life expectancy is a tremendous financial boost for Medicare and SocSec.
