True Fact; I Almost Never Watch FOX NEWS since that NOV.6.12 GrandPiano Dropped Down on my Head.

I used to watch Greta almost every weeknight. I made it my business to watch whenever "Our Sarah" was on, till The Fox Bosses decided to diss Sarah in order to make liberals like them (as if!). People in my household were under strict orders not to interupt me during what I called my "News Round-Up" on Sunday night with Mike Wallace. I used to listen to some Sean, some O'Reily. I never did like The Five, because a. I already see these same people during the day or overnight b. Beckle; need I say more. Beckle is one of the reasons I stopped making a point to see Hannity.

Now...I don't know. I no longer expect anything from Fox, nothing that is a true harbringer to change and improvement. We'll have to be content just to tred water till the mid-terms of 2016. I keep hoping for a conservative with 'heavy pockets' to start their own RED channel, one that is free and easy to access. Fox could use some real competition. Could be that we americans are so very fractured and balkanized as ever-changing mosaics of demographic groups, with few particular demos big enough, brand-loyal or predictable enough to be worthwhile. I sometimes feel a little guilty, as though I missed going to church.

Meanwhile, I have a 'temporary separation' with George Noory's Coast to Coast as well. I started listening to Art Bell back around 1992. I'm still interested in the Outer and Inner Spaces of existance, but Coast to Coast has become a bit too predictable. I still visit sometimes, but for now, I'm seeing other people, like Red-Eye Radio, which is political, but it's two mid-western guys with a fun delivery, and I don't yet know everything about them. Sometimes, I want to hear about Hockey, or fishing for smelt in the great lakes, or successful Charter Schools that are loudly praised and defended by concerned parents.

Call me in late 2014. I'm sure the closer we get to the mid-term election's, things will look more interesting. Maybe, Maybe a Tea/ Repub who is good, and polished and BOLD, and READY will challenge Mr. Boener and Mr. Preibus. Good fellows, both of them, but too mild mannered and easily thrown off base. Most americans are not wanting to line up and follow someone overly meek, overly compromising.

This is probably a good time for us conservatives to think locally, meaning, consider getting involved in your local City Council, visit the local Chamber of Commerce, or Traffic Court.

Too many conservatives are taken in by the leftmedia constantly referring to Fox News as a 'right-wing' network. Leftists on the internet routinely complain about Fox News and call it 'faux news' as way to ridicule what they can't destroy. In reality, Fox News simply gives the Republican POV a fair shake but it is far from being 'the conservative network' - because it can't be.

The secret of FNC's success is the fact that it actually makes an attempt to be, all together now: 'fair and balanced'. That isn't always possible but they try. However, were Fox News really conservative, as it's leftist critics claim, it would never be as successful as it is now. Just as MSNBC, which is down-the-line liberal gets small ratings, a Fox News network that trumpeted conservative values and only allowed conservative commentators and guests to appear would do better than MSNBC, I'm sure, but not as well as they do now, leading the cable news networks on a regular basis.

The reality is that Fox News is a business, not a subsidized right-wing mouthpiece that we could all agree with all the time. Besides, judging from the tone of some posts on FR, there are always those who find some politician, commentator, etc as 'not conservative enough' or 'wrong' on some issue or other. I'm happy to have Fox News. Not because they are so very conservative - they are not. I'm happy to have a TV news outlet that isn't 100% leftist all the time. Fox News may not toe the conservative ideological line for many but it's still welcome in my home because I understand what it is and do not put unrealistic expectations on it just because liberals rant and rave about how 'right-wing' the network is....only in their echo chamber.

However, complaining is easy and for some, enjoyable so those who find FNC 'too liberal' can certainly ignore them. Somehow, I suspect they'll survive just fine, offering a mild contrast to the left-wing rubbish we get on the rest of the (supposed) 'news' networks.

Please elaborate on what law enforcement personel TOLD YOU about George Soro’s grip on and manipulation of our U.S. media. Many of us here would be most interested in what you were told and under what circumstances. You can use fake names or locations.

Hannity is like a broken record

If he stopped saying "you know" every 5th word, he could cut his hour show back to 15 minutes.

I’m sufficiently distressed by what’s happening to our country that I find myself not interested in listening to anything much. I rarely watch Fox, I rarely listen to Rush (used to be faithful), and I really just feel like saying “wake me up in 2016” ( if we’re still around ).

Rush missed his chance to change the course of history years ago. If Paul Revere had Rush’ attitude, he never would have made the ride to rally the citizens... he would have spent all his time in the pubs preaching and complaining.

Haven’t listened to Rush in two years.

till The Fox Bosses decided to diss Sarah

You do know that her quitting Fox was her choice, right? It wasn't 'the bosses' it was her choice.

I am still bitter over the election and haven’t watched that much news, period. All the talking heads are still getting their big paychecks at Fox News, so I don’t see the election impacting them much. A stupid electorate will do what it does best, vote stupidly, so a fat lot of good all the conservative talk out there is doing. I don’t even know what Rush has been saying these days.

Yeah, I feel like blasted of into space, frozen in suspended animation and when I come back, I'm in a different world. As I enter Earth orbit and see the changes, I'm not sure I want to come back but know I have to when my food runs out and/or my solar panels lose efficency and batteries get old. Welcome to the Planet of the Apes.

Like many of you fellow FReeps I’m taking a hiatus from Fox and Talk Radio. Since last corrupution day the level of inner frustration runs too high and listening to Rush, Hannity, Levin and all seems to only increase it further.
For now I’m switching to more fun and interesting topics to explore. Scrooge politics to the high heavens.

Me too. They seem to be part of the MSM now. I used to like Greta, but even she has become formulaic.

There is no difference between Fox News and CNN now....none whatsoever. Only a PhonyCon with fantasy issues think they are different

And most of GOP Media is worthless Obama supporters.....with the way they attacked Obama Eligibility people....even after Joe Arpaio and his posse proved Obama released another bogus birth certificate. Many of the PhonyCon Liberals who covered for Obama on Eligibility will spend hours talking about Michelle O’s behind

Fortunately we still have decent conservative sites on line....but they even get attacked on here
