Way off course. The majority of the voting cardinals were appointed by the two popes John Paul II and Benedict XVI, both conservatives. This is not the fantasy players that the Pelosi’s of the planet dream about.

Very little in life is certain, to be sure. But in this case, I think we can with 100% certainty rule it out.

No, it is absolutely ridiculous. For starters, Obama isn’t Catholic. And he’s married. The Pope’s official title is “Bishop of Rome.” To be pope, you do need to be eligible to be a bishop, which means you need to be a Catholic priest.

Personally, I would react by stockpiling my home with food, just like those doomsday-scenario people, who are expecting civilization to collapse. I may also think of getting some farm land in Montana, North Dakota, or Utah.
