What are some good places to stay/eat?
What are the MUST SEE gun stores and/or INDOOR gun ranges to see while out there?
Any Freepers meetings going on at this time?
Thanks!
Paige Wyatt from American Guns.
What area of Denver is your conference? I prefer the Denver Tech area or south of DTC near Centennial for hotels (quick access to I-25) and food. I can’t help ya with the indoor shooting range, but El Paso county (Colorado Springs) in conjunction with Fort Carson just opened a brand spankin new shooting range called Cheyenne Moutain Shooting complex. http://www.elpasoco.com/CMSC/Pages/default.aspx
I think only phase I is open/completed which is the outdoor ranges.
God Bless America.
Hmmm....
Not Concealed.....
“Clinging” Yes
“Bitter” No
Ping.
Probably next to airport or downtown if they follow most NRA courses.
LOL....just got a private mail that "Shotgun Willies" is a good place for drinks...rated best strip club in CO.
Sounds like we may need to get a CO/Banglist/Freeper meeting going.......
MUST SEE Gun Store: Specialty Sports & Supply in Colorado Springs, 1 hour south of Denver. Probably the largest gun shop in the US, and at least, according to the owner, one of the top five. This guy gets the President of Ruger, Browning, Freedom, and other gun manufacturers on site routinely for all day events. This is a place where you don't say you want a Browning shotgun in green, you gotta say what shade of green, barrel length, etc, 'cause he has them all. When other shops are crying for inventory this guy has it all.
Indoor ranges that are special? None, really. There are about 6 in the area but none are special in any way. You can google for them easily.
Outdoor ranges that are special? Probably Colorado Rifle Club. I belong there and with its 1,000 range, cowboy ranges, and various other ranges it hosts many competitions throughout the year.
The Fort Restaurant Interesting place to go to, just West of Denver.
I'd be up for a meet-n-greet.
