Lights out during the Super Bowl. President Obama fought for 4 years to have the power grid updated. The GOP resisted him for 4 years. This is America on GOP obstruction. Having the power reliability of a banana republic. When will you wake up and realize the GOP should never be allowed anywhere near the levers of power? When the lights give out during your open-heart surgery? This is serious and yes, it is political as it is about responsible governance.

Once more. Here is your response to the persistent homophobia of the teavangelicals of all stripes: Being gay is not a choice. What is a clear choice is homophobia. Rightwing religious fundamentalists were given a wide choice of ‘abominations’ and they selected only homophobia from this wide selection. They chose not to focus on the ‘abomination’ of eating pork, or eating shell fish or any of the many other truly and equally ridiculous and asinine array of abominations. They chose instead to focus on the one ‘abomination’ that would involve hatred of a group of human beings. They chose homophobia. Once more. Homosexuality is not a choice. Homophobia on the other hand, is undisputedly and demonstrably, clearly a choice.

Obama got almost a trillion dollars in stimulus money to fix this stuff. He spent it on cronys and unions.

Sorry, but the GOP is involved. It was GOP Senator Murkowski who in 2010 killed legislation to upgrade the power grid to protect it against an EMP attack or major solar flare.

The North Koreans, abetted by the Chicoms, are fast at work on a missile capable of delivering an EMP device to the continental US. All it takes is one successful EMP detonation over Kansas to destroy this country.
