Super Bowl ads so far all duds (vanity)

You would think for the millions they spent on air time the advertisers would come up with good ads. All so far have been really lame in my opinion

Let's see how fast Obama turns this into a discussion of America's aging power grid and how Congressional inactivity the last 12 years is the cause.

That's why we need a dictatorship....I mean "bi-partisan" legislation.

I liked a lot of them.

E trade baby: always a winner.

GoDaddy’s couples ad - very clever, winner.

Galloping Clydesdale! I’ve never seen one gallop. “A”

Good patriotic although a little PC Jeep ad.

Volkswagen’s Jamaican ad was truly funny.

The best was the Dodge Ram about farmers, a great tribute with Paul Harvey narration.

“You watched it. They win.”

That’s why I didn’t even watch a snip of it this year.

Would like to know the advertisers of the smutty ads I heard about so i can boycott them.

I agree. That was a great ad, one of the best I have seen of any the Super Bowl ads (past & present). Most of the ads are simply downright stupid and the rest are either lewd or vulgar. But the Dodge RAM ad with its' tribute to farmers by Paul Harvey was great!

Nothing commands my respect like a post that starts out with “Dude . . .”

And just IS a “Beyonce,” anyway?

The godaddy commercial was nasty

When did the marketing community decide that lip smacking mouth noises were a big seller?

I feel like I need to have ADHD just to watch and enjoy any of the commercials played during the SB this time around.

The Paul Harvey one was pretty good though.

I agree - that was GREAT! The rest were the usual sophomoric trash.

Well, I’m an animal person, so I really liked the Clydesdale commercial...had to grab a tissue. And I liked the one with the wolf cub and mama wolf...something about a car service of some kind.

The farmer ad is also a good one.

Chill out, dude.

Anyway, the Paul Harvey thing was charming and really unexpected. Props for that.

Best one was the Mercedes ad with Sympathy For The Devil.

Worst...that Taco Bell ad disturbed me on more than a few levels.

The Farmer’s was BORING. I had to watch on You Tube just to be sure I was giving it a fair assessment....Boring. They should have shortened it. My absolute favorite was the Clidesdale horse one. The Taco Bell was hilarious with the elderly having a good time...more should do so. The Oreo in the Library was ok. The Paul Rudd commercial was pretty decent and the Ram commercial was good. The car commercial where they follow different scenarios and have to go around the obstruction was extremely funny. Most were lame though.

Everything about this SB sucks. Bad game, lousy commercials, and sucky half time show. I’m heading for the exits.

Holy cow! It was the most exciting game in YEARS. The highest viewed and in fact 3rd highest in HISTORY. The commericals were much better than other years. The half-time show was an improvement. Go Ravens! I think you must have been not paying attention....lol.
