WOW! I’ve seen and it’s still hard to believe!
To say they’re impressive is an understatement.

Very nice. I took a drawing class a few years ago, and there was a guy in it who could produce work similar to this, where a drawing looked like a photograph, within an hour or less. The first comment the teacher made when he saw his work was "I don't think I have anything to teach you."
However, as the class went on, I noticed that while he could always produce a near photographic reproduction, that was all he could do. He could not do any sort of artistic reinterpretation of anything. It wasn't even halfway through the course when I lost interest in seeing his work. After all, if I wanted something like he produced, I could just take out a camera and take a picture. I was a lot more exited by seeing other people's work, especially ones who constantly improved.

How can this be considered art? Where’s the urine? Where’s the shredded American flag? Where are the paint drips and splatters?

Pictures at source - must be seen to be believed.Yes, but we are not seeing the drawings themselves, are we? First question is, how big are the originals? It seems that in these images, the pencil strokes are not resolved. I don't mean to take anything away from the artist, but I'm loath to believe this technique is beyond understanding.

Wonderful drawings.
But how come they’re all gray cats? Why no orange tabbies?

The man is extremely talented. Hard to tell them from B & W photographs. The detail on the hair is astounding.
To: Slings and Arrows
They most certainly do.
As for the pictures, I just saved them as my new screen saver. Thank you Slings!

I’m excited for the Kitty Halftime show at the Puppy Bowl today because on the promo, there is a (finally) a little Meezer kitten. BTW, I have two. One a pure bread blue point and one a beautiful little lilac point rescue from siameseresue.org.

I’ve volunteered to shuttle kitties twice and would do it again in a heartbeat. I can’t foster any because I just don’t have the space.
As you go through their site to see the cats available, there is a search function. Type in VA5118 and you can see my Lilly’s baby pictures. Hard to believe she was in a shelter.
They also have great cat toys at great prices and all the proceeds go to the organization.

I have a S. Anderson pencil drawing of a famous guitarist which folks believe is a photograph. She is extremely talented and expresses her genius in many venues of artistry.

One of my favorite books when I was a child was about a cat named Miss Sniff. It was all illustrated with pencil, or charcoal, drawings. I passed it on to my own daughter, and my grandchildren enjoy it.

I’ll keep checking back.

I have cats from Siamese Rescue (note tagline)...e-mail them and let them know your situation...they MAY have a kitty in the NJ area, but may be lacking a ‘foster mother’ in that area to facilitate the adoption. They also have a ‘transport service’, but once again, not sure if they could cover your area. It NEVER hurts to ask...

Pickachu? She's better off as a 'Lilly'...I find that most SR cats undergo a 'name change' right after adoption. :-)
I have two others that I saved from the 'Green Mile' at the last minute...beautiful Red Points that were stunning...also hard to believe such beautiful animals could be dumped at a shelter.

Thank you for posting, Mr. Lung does incredible work. It is obvious that he loves his subjects.
My Ragdoll Jasper was sitting on my lap as I scrolled through the gallery. He wanted the "other kitties" to come out and play!
