The Eastern Sports and Outdoors Show (aka Sportsmen's Show) to be held in Harrisburg, PA beginning February 2, recently decided to prohibit vendors from displaying and selling tactical weapons and high-cap magazines.
Since then, a growing list of vendors and thousands of sportsmen have decided to boycott the show (myself included).
The show has four anchor vendors; Cabela's, Outdoor Channel, Progressive Insurance and Comcast. Cabela's decided yesterday to boycott the show. Since then a number of other vendors have decided to do the same. I really have to wonder if Progressive Insurance and Comcast, two very liberal companies, are the two companies that are pushing to promoter to ban tactical weapons. (That ugly witch Flo can jam multiple high capacity magazines where the sun doesn't shine.)
I would love to see the Outdoor Channel boycott the show leaving Progressive and Comcast holding the bag along with Reid Exhibitions, the promoter which is based in the UK.
This is a minor battle for our Republic, but it needs to be won. The 2nd Amendment shall not be infringed and those vendors willing profit at the expense of our rights have no principles need to be held accountable. Failure to boycott this show and making it an utter failure allows the liberal media to say, "See, all these evil sportspeople don't care about assault weapons and high capacity clips that put our children in danger everyday. If they can kill Bambi, they don't care about killing children."
I, for one, will not aid and abet our enemies that want to destroy our God given rights. I will not spend money for admission to an event that goes to liberals based in the UK that have no notion of 2nd Amendment rights. I will not do business with companies that do not boycott this event.

Yes they were planning to exhibit. Many have been displaying at the show for years. This is a huge show. Over 200,000 people go to the show each year. While the list is impressive, it is small in comparison to the 1,500 vendors that attend.
The NRA needs to get off the fence. They are acting like a bunch of RINOs and need to show some backbone. While I am an NRA member, they have a problem with "shall not infringe" and have compromised with gun grabbers in the past.
The same progressive that threatened to yank ALL of their ads off fox because a few aired during "the Glenn Beck show"?

Progressive has no problem taking money from conservatives that buy pickup trucks, RVs, ATVs, motorcycles and boats - all of which are sold at the show. They will gladly take your money and then contribute to Marxist political candidates.
If I’m not mistaken I believe Progressive is tied to Geo Soros.

I told her the name was no accident...and she immediately dropped them. She felt like an idiot for having them in the first place, as every conservative should know that the term “Progressive” (or “Peaple’s, for that matter) is a liberal code term.

Sorry, Progressive Ins. is not a Soros entity. Progressive is Peter Lewis’ plaything.
Lewis is a pot enthusiast that bankrolls the pot legalization movements. That is where he and Soros have similarities.
Lewis is a self-loathing second generation owner of Progressive. His daddy made the company what it is today, Peter started out as an underwriter at Progressive.
They specialize in SR-22 filings and high risk drivers, which is why the new pot legalization laws in Colorado and Washington included radical DUID provisions in the “legalization” laws. Peter Lewis is only going to get fatter and more stoned as more states follow Colorado and Washington into the pot game.
