The MSM is pushing hard with the spin from Notre Dame and the Te’o family that he was the “victim” of the hoax and not the perpetrator.
After reading the Deadspin article I say it's total spin and Te'o is playing everyone now just as he was playing everyone for the past year.
The school is perpetuating the scam to save face but they will end up losing face as the truth comes out. They learned nothing from Penn State.
The article by Eric Hansen called “What dreams may come” has disappeared from the South Bend Tribune website in the last few hours. Maybe their site has received too much traffic. The story talked about how Manti first met the girl. ND says the two never met. The story contradicts their spin.
Seems like opposite. They are portraying this as the worst thing a college football player has done. Worse than taking money, steroids, drugs, DUI, Rape. 5 years with no bowl games? Has any other school been penalized that harshly?
If Te’o is the perp; which it at least; appears that he is; then he is not the ‘perpetrator’ of a hoax. He would be;in truth; a unmitigated perpetrator of a lie. No ‘hoaxter’ here; just a liar. If. . .
