One of my three cats doesn’t eat squishies, so no dish for her. The other two now get separate dishes, which my wife thought would be a good way to keep one of them from getting too fat. We’d feed them their squish on a saucer and the big cat would eat most of it before the kitten could even get a bite.
Now, with them eating from separate dishes, Patch at least has to walk across the kitchen to steal Monkey’s squishies. :)

With the two kitties we have now, I have a ‘food,food,food’ tower with dried stuff in it, so the food is always available, and no pecking order fights. But years ago when we had 4 cats and they ate wet food twice a day, it was a different thing all together. They all KNEW who was king of the hill, and it happened to be the smallest of the four — a calico with double paws. When the big yellow tabby would put his nose in, she would look at him in disdain and whack him with those fists!! He then politely sat there till it was his turn. Wish we had handy videos then!
It only took until the 3rd post before someone brought that up!
Two cats and a bowl is cute, though.
