7-7 - First QTR
RG, rock ‘em.
Ugh, what happens if they tie? Do they both lose?
Go Cowboys!!!! :-D
Most of the comments are for the Cowboys. Sadly, I am watching for the train wreck that has been the Cowboys every December for the past 5 plus years. Dis function dominates Dallas, they will lose.
Isn’t the Cowboys’ owner a Republican?
>> Dis function dominates Dallas, they will lose.
Substitute Longhorns for Dallas, and you have last night’s game...
... right up until the fourth quarter anyway.
Yes and Jerry Jones supports John Schnatter of Papa Johns who had made his stand clear on the travesty of Obamacare. Although quite a number of people dislike him for a number of reasons, dating back to his ham-fisted approach when he bought the team and fired the legendary Tom Landry, Jones has taken a principled stand against the evils of affirmative action by his opposition of the Rooney Rule, imposed by the commie chairman of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
I hate both of these teams. When they play each other I hope for a humiliating defeat for one and many (not too serious) injuries for the winner.
I can't say if he's a Republican but I can say he's an asshole.
That answer your question?
No politics on this thread, please! Let’s just talk about football! By the way, Redskins just scored! 14-7!
The beavers have a history of loosing in big games as well, not as bad as Dallas. Chip Kelly (Beavers head coach) wins with nobodies, Dallas (Jerry Jones)looses with everybody!
I’ve never seen a bigger train wreck in December than Dallas!
Redskins lead 21-10 with 7 minutes left in the 4th....
I thought the game was cancelled on account of politics...
21-18 with 4 minutes left.
OK, but the announcers suck, and they are political!
Romo picked, what are the odds?
Romo picked 3 times, how awesome!
Romo is 32 years old and it’s his seventh year as the start for the Cowboys. Dallas need to cut him because they aren’t going anywhere with him.
So what does Dallas do next year to win????
Romo picked, what are the odds?
How would you characterize Romo’s pick tonight? In historical terms, was it worse than the Seattle debacle in 2006?
Double bonus tonight! I get to see my beloved Redskins win AND I get to see Dallas lose!
They aren’t going anywhere with anybody else either. They’re just plain not a good team. Jones likes to grab up high priced reprobates for the skill positions, which leaves them a lack of cap room for the guys in the trenches, and the team as a whole lacks the discipline and core skills to win. The team always looks good, but they’re always highly penalized, and they always find a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. They could have Tom Brady as their QB and still wouldn’t put the bow on the season, they lack the fundamental skills.
I’m sorry for your shocking results!
The Redskins have that beat. Better than being a Republican, their QB is a real live Conservative.
this should seal it for Romo. Anything short of a house cleaning in Dallas should piss off those fans. Too bad they tried to jimmy the cap in 2010 and got caught but that hit shouldn’t be that bad.
Jerry needs to act like a good business person and remove himself from the day-to-day football operations and bring in a real GM.
Woo Hoo!!!! Hail to the Redskins!!
Who cares? Cowboys suck!!
Screw you! HTTR!
I’m glad this III QB won. Seems the press hates him.
There should have been a drinking game for everytime Romo had his fingers in his mouth. By halftime no one would have cared who won. That habit of his is just gross and infantile.
Who will they get to replace Tony Romo? That’s why I think he gets another year in Dallas.
“their QB is a real live conservative”
He certainly is...he’s a Texan for most of his life.
It sort of takes the sting out tonights loss. Even if it was to the Redskins.
I still have an ace in the hole. I’m a huge Peyton Manning fan. :)
No! hes an A-hole!
The Cowboys -- and the next opponent for the Redskins...the Seahawks...had the dubious dishonor of making Life Decisions Intl's list of donors to Planned Parenthood.
If for no other reasons than that, true conservatives should hope for the Skins to beat the Seahawks next week...and thereby slay the Planned Parenthood coffers-funders two weeks consecutively.
The Cowboys and the Seahawks fund slaying the next generation of fans!
Shame on them ... and their fans!
Fun game! #HTTR !! It’s been a long, dry spell and we have some true class in those young men interviewed at the end. Looking forward to the Seahawks!
I find this interesting. Do you check the background of every company that you buy so much of a stick of gum from?
That must be exhausting...and restrictive.
Or are you hijacking a thread?
The RG3 story gives this Cowboys fan something to root for. I like this young man and want to see him have success on a national stage.
I know Rob....my son played ball with him in Cove. Great kid.....not fake....family is 1st rate......and he hates the moniker RGIII....it is Rob or Robert......and certainly not RG3.
This guy played on the same team with Robert and was faster....by far.....believe it or not! Fastest kid I ever saw!
This kid was on the same team as well and was just a pinch slower than Robert......http://gofrogs.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/boyce_josh00.html
Probably the most talented 3 ballplayers ever out of Copperas Cove HS if you don’t count #33 for the Bears....Peanut Tillman.
So I don't have to root for the Pokes. I was a Los Angeles Rams fan, so it would be hard to get me to root for Dallas, one of our biggest rivals. I haven't followed the NFL since Georgie moved the team to St. Louis.
In 1979, I took the Metro out to DC Stadium to watch a pre-season game. The train was full of Redskins fans, and aet one point they started singing that song. Everybody knew the words.
How many fans of other NFL teams know the words of their theme songs? I was a Los Angeles Rams fan, and the Rams' theme song sounds like the theme of a TV game show. I don't think it even has words.
Reason #472 of why I hate the Cowboys.
