The last 4+ years have seen a gun buying like we’ve never see before. Now it is approching stratospheric levels due to Sandy Hook and the pols plans to ban everthing in sight.
I’m hoping in 2014 there will be enough gun owning voters who know which party is the gun banninig party.

Dropped by Gander Mountain today just for kicks. They had one AR-22 on the rack behind the counter and completely out of .223 ammo. Most of the .22LR ammo gone too. The shotgun selection did not look too bad. I was tempted to get a Mossy turkey gun.

Finally got the Hog Hunter to the range today.

Got the irons zeroed at 50 yards as that is as good as my eyes are. Got good grouping, ended up being able to keep all rounds inside the 9 ring, although my nephew did better with it. The Accutrigger is very sweet. It has a really nice recoil pad also.
Anyway, go it home and installed a DNZ one piece scope mount.

Going back out tomorrow to zero the scope. If anyone is looking for a 308 bolt gun this is a good one that won’t break the bank.
