Sionds like something written by the Austin convention and visitor's bureau. I've been here for decades and never heard that phrase.
I retired from Texas Instruments and never heard it.
Anyway....
Some UT students were up on 6th Street parting when they decided to go to College Station and harrass some A&M students. Drunk and speeding down the freeway they look up at a freeway sign and it says "Texas A&M left".
So....they turn around and go back to Austin.
