How many of these Democrats did the NRA give money to and get re-elected?

Never mind the fact that the NRA goes into a hiding hole in the ground somewhere everytime there is a dust up, leaving 2nd Amendment Supporters and Law Abiding Gun Owners to fend for themselves, which brings the usual question around these times. Where is the NRA?

A more important question needs to be asked. As we see so-called "pro gun" Democrats warming up to tighter gun controls, according to reports, we may just see where are membership dues went to those who will not help. How many of these Democrats that will come out for gun control laws did the NRA give money to and help get re-elected? Most of us have had concerns with the way the NRA seems to eager to "negotiate" at times. Usually because it comes too close to giving up ground that should never be given up.

Many have the renewal forms coming in the mail. I'm sure many will be watching to see if they want to give any more to those who might actually work against the rights of gun owners/law abiding citizens.

The NRA will cave on "assault weapons". It's only a matter of time.

What really pisses me off is that the liberals didn’t give the nation ten minutes to mourn before they started attackign conservatives for believing that the second amendment means what it says.

So, instead of mourning for the murdered children and offering words and prayers of condolence and comfort to the families and friends,we found ourselves feeling compelled to engage in political arguments with knuckleheads.

It's the National Rifle Association, not the National Republican Association. We exist to protect the second amendment, not to protect one political party over another. In the course of protecting the second amendment, it is necessary and tactically sound to work with individuals on both sides of the aisle especially when the Republicans can't manage to hold onto power. Through our efforts, we have been instrumental in advancing the pro-second amendment agenda in this country. Nobody has done more for firearms enthusiasts than the NRA.

The NRA got Harry Reid re-elected
How?

Because they supported the scumbag. And he milked that. His opponent may not have been the best but they could have supported her or at least failed to endorse him.

The NRA backs the candidate with the highest pro gun rating. Some win and some don't. Is the NRA responsible for the defeat of those they support that don't win?

National RINO Association?

Right - let’s not talk about this.

In fact, we’ll never talk about it.

Let’s just surrender everything to the left.

The NRA endorses the candidate with the highest pro gun rating. The NRA is a proactive 2nd Amendment firearms organization, not a political organization. Is the NRA responsible for the defeat of every candidate they endorse that loses?

I felt the same way. I thought my opinion of the left could sink any lower, I was wrong.

The NRA is right to be quiet before the dead are buried. The gun grabbers are showing their lack of respect for the dead and their primary cause of taking away people’s rights.

“Is the NRA responsible for the defeat of every candidate they endorse that loses?”

No, they are not. But they’d have to be blind not to see that Harry Reid is not the “conservative” democrat he claimed he was. He’s a militant leftist who’s the majority leader of the senate and democrats are always anti-gun. Reid played just enough to get their endorsement. Wanna bet that an assault weapons ban will somehow come up for a vote in the Senate while they “haven’t had time” for lots of other legislation, budget, jobs, etc.

Really?

Yet you vigorously defend the NRA, which endorsed him for US Senate.

Perhaps you should learn what sort of idiots you're defending.
