"victims of a replay officiating atrocity" I don't have a dog in that fight, but it was hardly an atrocity... looked like a correct overrule. Barely, but correct.

You know the powers-that-be were praying there wouldn’t be 3-4 unbeatens with only two slots available.
Now had it happened next year, wow, what a Final Four!

Florida State 16, Florida 7Hard to disagree with that. The good news is that Florida seems to play better on the road than at home....but they need their defense to get a bunch of turnovers to have a chance, the offense has been pretty bad as of late.

Plus, that was a 1-10 play from the 15. Even if ruled incomplete, Stanford would be 2-10 from the 15 with 3 more chances to score or make a first down at the 5.

The replays were not even 1 bit close to being conclusive. The call on the field should have prevailed. O

As a Bama fan I must admit that I am pulling for a ND and Bama Title game. However, both teams have work to do.

Sorry, but you are wrong about the "botched" call. The Stanford guy caught the ball, and in bounds. Period. Besides, had the ruling gone the other way, that was a first down play. The way Stanford was moving the ball on the ground, they would have scored, anyway. Only a fumble by Stanford earlier in the game enbled Oregon to take the lead. Their mighty offense, at home, was hapless against a good defense. Stanford beat them soundly.
Am I a Stanford fan? No. I was rooting for Oregon.

And remember that last drive in regulation when Oregon got that ridiculous pass interference call on third down, odds are if they had to punt the ball at that point, Stanford had a good shot of winning the game in regulation.

Even if the mighty Hector (Barkley) emerges from the gates of Troy to take the field (which I wouldn’t put past Kiffin), Achilles (Teo) will be waiting for him. Death to Troy!
