Go to YouTube sometime and search for Andrew Breitbart interviews -- in half of them he bemoans the lack of financial support from moneyed conservatives. Great post and I will admit to being a little cranky today. I guess my only question then is why will moneyed conservatives NOT provide financial support? Would it be in our interest to do just this then?

My biggest moan and groan is that although Weiner was removed and although ACORN was discredited, politicians like Gillibrand in NY won by the largest percentage ever, Bill Clinton was not fully removed from office and even with the huge gains made in 2010 nationally, California just voted itself a super majority in both state houses of Congress.

Boehner has been largely silent and out of the media for two years at a time when this was the ONLY portion of the Federal Government that Republicans controlled. You would think that if conservative talkers really wanted to push a conservative agenda, they would have conservative House and Senate representatives on their show weekly.

I think back to the comedy show Arrested Development and the Republican Party as a whole right now reminds me of the lawyer played by Henry Winkler.

Rush, you are correct. Pointing out the MSM hypocrisy is funny for us and very useful for us, but for some reason, this hypocrisy is lost on the Demmings (my new word for Dem Lemmings).

This is just my theory, and it may seem totally screwy, but I think all these things are connected and they come back to the nature of conservatives. We are a live-and-let-live bunch of people (which means we are less organized and sometimes don't vote as often) and we are, generally speaking, much kinder than leftists -- which also means, unfortuately, that we care more about being liked, or at least more about just being left alone to our own business.

So we've got Sean Hannity, a wonderful conservative, who gives platforms to the most outrageous monsters on the Left and treats them with civility, if not sweetness, and they have Keith Olbermann. They have MoveOn.org and all its boycotts, and we have the I-can't-be-bothered-with-boycotts crew. They have ACORN, now under assorted different names, and we have zilch. They have Media Matters, supported by loads of money, and we have Breitbart.com, which conservatives, in their I'd-rather-be-golfing mood (which I understand), won't support.

I think it all comes down to conservatives' reluctance to get involved in telling others how to live. Libs are naturals at that. The home of fascism, after all, is the Left. But our reluctance to get involved to the degree leftists do, and to be active rather than reactive, is going to be the death of this country.

I think the trick is to maintain our conservative, live-and-let-live attitude to the degree possible while also going somewhat Chicago on them. Unlike the Left, we don't have to lie, we just have to have the courage to tell the truth and fight back.

By the way, I'm cranky too. I get that.
