Folks don’t realize that true military MREs have very little fibre in them — so the grunt doesn’t have to take a dump at just the wrong time.

My son has come to LOVE meals high in fibre and veggies, as he knows what even a three day FTX can do to your innards.

Pilots get 'low residue meals' before long flights in small cockpits, ponder on that a minute, and you can figure out why I'm always praying for those that fly and fight.

I came to appreciate that during survival school. Four days on top of a mountain. It was a training area so they had one porta-pot there which was filled well well beyond capacity.

Then I ate the brownie.
