You are dead wrong.

If a real legal investigation had been pursued, the real identity of 0bastard would have been found, and he would have been revealed as the illegal fraud that he is.

But no, the Rs were and are too chicken**** to say boo, and too many knownothings supporting them think it’s perfectly okay to have a usurper stinking up the WH and now “winning” an election by massive coordinated fraud.

Usagi is a troll. He got smacked by JR yesterday for pushing abortion. Now he’s an anti-birther.

He’s imho not just a volunteer but possibly a dem hireling troll. Or maybe just a regular leftist wad.

Yep, it was "not a winning issue", we were told. Some made it much of their FR posting career.

There were several of them like that. Some I think were just supremely wrong-headed, but others I suspect were either useful idiots or Obama partisans.

Now I don't know if the Undocumented Kenyan was born outside America but I DO know he's too chicken to submit it to a court of law. There must be at least one reason why.

I agree. He might even have been born in Hawaii, but as yet it hasn't been proven by any official document submitted to a concerned authority.

Well, the GOPe made sure nothing won.

I personally think they were too concerned about social pressure, and simply didn't want to deal with this issue because they thought it embarrassing. I would rather be embarrassed if I turned out to be wrong, than to not do anything and take the chance that this B@stard would get back in.

The so-called “Birthers” want simply to apply the Rule of Law (the ideology that our Republic stands on as a FOUNDATION!) to the sitting government. Is that so “batshit” crazy? Really?

Exactly.

I am not an “anti-birther”, but I have never believed and I do not believe now that the facts about Obama’s birth are sufficently known or knowable to result in his removal from office.

Well we would be a lot closer to determining if it was "knowable" had we got some state to ask for official documents from Hawaii, but efforts to do this one simple thing were castigated by our critics. Sure, there were some kooky theories and ideas floating about, but asking our State officials to request and examine certified proof from Hawaii? What's so crazy about that?

As a result of this belief, which I share with a lot of people, it has seemed prudent to pursue political remedies.

As I pointed out, I was very unsure that it would be possible to pursue political remedies because I knew with utter certainty that both the Media and Barack would CHEAT!!!! Subsequent events have demonstrated that my judgement was sound.

It has also become clear that, since passionate birthers are no closer to the truth now than they were in 2009, tha they are not likely to make any more progress in the next four years.

Given the level of information that has slowly revealed itself over the last four years, I would feel uneasy claiming that no more will come out. It was just so many months ago that Breitbart revealed the "Kenyan born" biography from Barry's literary agent, and all the people who claimed Barack never said that, have shut up about it. THEY WERE WRONG.

Even before the first election, I was in favor of investigating and exposing this imposter.

It was a dereliction of duty on the part of our election officials that they did not require actual proof before placing him on the 2008 ballot. The refusal to produce a certified copy of his original birth certificate should have been a red flag for them.

Actually most of us rested on the fact that the whole birther argument is legal hokum, that no court has ever agreed with, phoney 'precedents" that aren't precedents at all not withstanding

The legal experts are worse than ignorant compared to an average person. The legal experts are misinformed, going back a long ways.

Ask an average person if Anchor babies ought to be citizens and they will tell you "H3ll no!" Withholding citizenship from Anchor babies is a no-brainer. It takes a legal education to accept something so stupid.

Now just where did these people ever get the idea he was born in Kenya? Hmmmmm....

And a bunch more besides that.

It's not at all unreasonable.

Go ahead, ask.

I thought you asked already.

Oh, we did, but our efforts were hamstrung by those of you who refused to support them. In this game, numbers mean a lot. Social pressure becomes political pressure, but you guys decided to run interference rather than lend some support.

As it turned out, the State officials were more afraid of being embarrassed than they were of those of us who wanted to get to the truth. We have, in part, you guys to thank for helping to embarrass them away from doing their job.

The anti-birthers trusted in the American people and the force of American ideas to eliminate the current communist. They didn’t realize that the ballot box is NOW the sole property of the media whom they cautiously tried not to irritate lest they be called some unpleasant name (you choose the name). Even now, they cannot simply say, “We had no clue regarding the influence of the press. WE F**ked up.”

Yes! That’s the trick! Convince the Main Stream Media of the validity of our ideas and they will come to our side and influence the voting public.

Y’all are just friggin stupid and as inept as Karl Rove and the GOPe.

Again I say: Begone!

(And, in a couple of years, if you keep this “schmidt” up, I’ll be questioning your patriotism.)

Grassy knoll shooter?
**********************************
Real shooter was a Dallas police officer in a rain cistern located where the railroad trestle and the knoll came together. LBJ’s company built the trestle in 1938 , it was a WPA project, he knew about it. The police officer confessed on his deathbed. The cistern connected to the stormwater system with a handy exit at a nearby Police station. The cistern location has the perfect bullet trajectory with no “magic” in-flight acrobatics.

It's not a precedent. It merely mentions that there is a legal theory about a difference between what constitutes a "natural born citizen" as opposed to "native born" citicens, then states that they don't need to rule on the theory's validity, since it's irrelevent to the issue at hand. Noting that a legal theory exists does not make it precedent.

But what about the part where they say "The Constitution does not say who shall be "natural born citizens." ?

Well, thanks to the 14th amendment, (Passed seven years earlier) the constitution certainly said who would be just plain ole citizens. It said anyone born here would be a "citizen."

Seems to me that the court is explicitly saying the 14th amendment does not create "natural citizens."

Well, I am not anti-birther by any means. These are good people who are passionate in their beliefs. I just think that the issue is absolutely dead wrong. Unlike the Libs, we can disagree.

The issue is multi-part. Which part do you think is dead wrong?

Oh, and to all you “slackers” out there, I’ve always sided that Obamugabe was born in HI but not of parents who could provide NBC. His father was not a US citizen so, 1-of-2 does not an NBC make!

As a birther, I just want his provenance made public along with his personal records.

And, do those those records show that he is, in fact, guilty of high-crimes and misdemeanors as it regards his funding for college credit?

the wisest course of action would be to have supported legislation in one or two key swing states

It's not unreasonalbe to ask. But there's no requirement that he do so.

Sorry, I was being polite. It was not unreasonable for State Election officials to DEMAND that he establish his proof of citizenship since he himself called it into question. And yes, there is a requirement that he do so. It is implicit in the law which establishes qualifications.

So unless enough people care to get him voted out of office, it isn't going to matter. And clearly most Americans don't care.

Apathetic and Ignorant is no way to go through life. Most Americans wrongly expect their elected officials to handle this election stuff without their input. It never occurs to anyone that they should question that the election officials are doing their jobs properly unless they have a blatant examples of corruption or incompetence, and sometimes not even then.

Our best bet is to prevent it from happening again.

Obama will take care of that. We won't need to worry about election fraud if we don't have any more elections.

This applicant for the most important job in the country has undergone less of a background check than would any applicant for a job as janitor at the local school.

One big difference-the janitor doesn’t have access to the nuclear football.

A Janitor would be more qualified to have access to the nuclear football, and Obama would be more qualified to be a janitor.

The only thing left to do about the BC is to gather as many indisputable facts as we can, and maintain the issue for the history books. At the height of the controversy, I was telling Polarik that he’s the only one that gets something out of this, because he gets to write a book and make money from it.

Won't work. The winners write the History books. From now on, we get our history from the Ministry of truth.

You make my point. In Roe the court took a theory and made it a legal precedent by using it as a basis for ruling. In Happerset v Minor simply acknowledged that there is such a theory, then specifically stated they didn't need to rule as to it's validity, because it was irrelevant to the facts.

So you are citing Minor v Happerset in support of your argument? Okay, What do you make of the fact that they said:

"The Constitution does not say who shall be a natural born citizen."

If being born on the soil was the sole requirement, you would think they might have noticed the 14th amendment. (passed 7 years earlier) Why, it's almost as if the court specifically noted that a 14th amendment citizen is not the same thing as a "natural citizen."

What do you make of this? Puzzling, isn't it?
