No Patriotic Duty to Pay Increases in Taxes

Just in case a neo-marxist tries to bust your chops:

“Any one may so arrange his affairs that his taxes shall be as low as possible; he is not bound to choose that pattern which will best pay the Treasury; there is not even a patriotic duty to increase one’s taxes.”

“The legal right of a taxpayer to decrease the amount of what otherwise would be his taxes, or altogether avoid them, by means which the law permits, cannot be doubted.”

Gregory v. Helvering, 69 F.2d 809 (2nd Cir., 1934)

Gregory v. Helvering, 293 U.S. 465 (1935)

I read an article earlier today which indicated that even the millionaire socialist pricks who signed the "tax us please pledge" initiated by Warren Buffett have failed to put their money where their mouths are. So far this year, only $7 million total has been donated to the treasury to pay down the national debt. Why in the hell don't those socialists just voluntarily write checks with 7 or 8 zeros?

It is all a dog and pony show to help their Kenyan man boy idiot.

Buffett`s just kissing ass. WSJ pointed out how he dodges the tax man. I guess Munis are the best.

Know what coming down the pike , taxes, and was fed up with the BS line it`s patriotic to pay taxes so dug up the USSC quote for future reference.
