September 11, 2002, I was in back in uniform in Korea (of all places) participating in a mandatory formation in rememberance of 9/11. The entire country shut down for a few minutes.

Korea showed great respect to the US in a very real way.

Everyone in uniform got a small red silk poppy, and we were authorized to wear them.

A pretty little girl talked me out of mine.

Where poppies grow... indeed.

I just saw Obama give a nice speech om Veteran’s day. In the crowd there were those who 44 years ago never served, cursed our soldiers, spat on them and called them “baby killers”.

Now they wrap themselves in the American flag, while still stabbing our troops in the back.

Remember, when a leftist lib pats a soldier on the back he is looking for a soft spot to stick a knife.

My Grandfather and a Great Uncle served in two Canadian Regiments, my other Grandfather in an American Regiment in WW1.

My Father and Uncles served in WW2 and Korea.

I served in Viet Nam and I am an A$$hole so say the lib/rats, I have hated those people for 46 years.
