mmm...

Let’s look at losing Republican presidential candidates: Romney, McCain, Dole, GHW Bush, Ford. Did they claim to be full-throated conservatives? Or were they actually moderates uncomfortable with conservatives?

And recent Republicans winners? They were conservative or pretended to be.

mmm...

Decisions, decisions.

It wasn’t the message. It was the messenger.

I think it's the message. People these days don't like that you should work to get yours. They know you can just vote in people who will give it to you. Sad.

You fought the good fight for those folks in Tulsa, and you are fighting the good fight once again...thank you!

The campaign was set into a supercomputer and they drew models of exactly what district to bus in voters that were registered years before, this was initiated in the battlegrounds states such as Ohio and Florida, a computer program that predicted EXACTLY how to master the electoral votes.

The election was rigged America.

And nobody gives a hoot?

Why bother to vote at all, the ballot box was stuffed and in many cases stolen.

And everyone is too busy rubbernecking at the head of the CIA having an affair.

Its all about the election, its time to rip the guts out of the election process, at the very least make plans for the most stringent of laws about voter fraud, immediate Federal arrests and incarceration and the permanent loss of rights to ever vote again.

And I suggest that all across America let voting happen ONLY at places secured by the National Guard. All Red GOP governors should set up voting stations manned by the military, AMERICAN military.

To: who knows what evil?

Thank you, dear. ((hugs)).

It just burned me up to see the MSM 24/7 fawning over the gangster Trevon while the case of poor eldery white couple in Tulsa (who were tortured, raped and murdered by a gang of feral blacks) got swept under the rug.

We are Freepers. We are fighters for justice!

I do not see the Republican establishment doing any of it because they got who the wanted as a candidate.

And they got a losing candidate. This is why I don't waste even a dime of my money on political contributions. If these @ssholes ran a business they'd be broke within 48 hours.

fine. run whomever you like. they will still lose against
the combine of media portrayal, character assassination,
free stuff, and poorly educated urban masses voting en bloc as they are told.

as the man on Iron Chef says, ‘it’s ova’.

the whole Democratic vote was based on splitting people up into classes and going after individual classes with perceived attention. Either you find a guy to unite classes or you have to play the same game in the end.

-— Yeah, that’s what democrats do, it’s what they are.

As far as the Dream Act, if we let it happen it is all over. Changing Demographics already are near dooming us and unfortunately, despite their conservative religious views, the vast majority of the hispanic voters believe that the government is the answer to their problems. I think we need to hold our ground on the dream act and in the end Obama will be known as the one that promised them the moon months before an election and then never delivered.

Ultimately, I refuse to draw conclusions based on this election other than it was stolen from us. My vote was destroyed, I know many others that had the same thing happen, who knows how widespread it was ?

i live in an Hispanic city in CT. Even here, not a swing state, only a hot House seat: Obamba got more votes than ‘08 because he added more to the food stamp rolls, used the federal govt to get them registered, and then used the entire apparatus to mobilize them to vote. It was a tidal wave of new voters.

he did poorer in the white towns than he did in 08.

They “expanded the electorate” by “strengthening the progressive infrastructure” ... and four more years await for him to “fundamentally transform America”. They are transforming the electorate. Permanently.

jjotto: "Let’s look at losing Republican presidential candidates: Romney, McCain, Dole, GHW Bush, Ford.
Did they claim to be full-throated conservatives?
Or were they actually moderates uncomfortable with conservatives?"

Sure, and let's look at all the recent Republican winners:

  1. 1952 Eisenhower
  2. 1956 Eisenhower
  3. 1968 Nixon
  4. 1972 Nixon
  5. 1980 Reagan
  6. 1984 Reagan
  7. 1988 Bush senior
  8. 2000 Bush junior
  9. 2004 Bush junior

So, of those nine Republican victories over 60 years, how many were true conservatives?

Sure, we can count Reagan, but many would argue he talked a better conservative fight than he actually delivered.
Indeed, his single greatest accomplishment -- defeating the Soviet Union -- resulted in part by greatly increasing Federal spending on defense.

Of course, I'm not saying that's bad, just that you expect conservatives to reduce the government, and I don't see where even Reagan, great as he was, accomplished that mission.

A true well spoken conservative politician—meaning a Christian Conservative natch—would promulgate the most efficacious values aka Christian Conservative values in any campaign...

Situations born of environments not blessed by the Almighty must be cursed, there is no alternative.

The drug addicted mother who has damned her unborn infant to permanent disability because of her bad decisions rationalizes her evil choices by blaming her environment, as supported by her misanthropic Leftist “advocates” and their MSM toadies, but it is not a Christian Conservative environment—rather it is the evil political agenda of the ANTI Christian Conservative agenda that the Left has deemed an expedient procurement of more victim votes.

The campaign DID make a BIG difference - to the bank accounts of Dick Morris and Karl Rove.

"There are three lessons to take home on this election."

Yep:

Number 1: Don't listen to a thing Dick Morris has to say. He made a bunch of money while the monkeys danced to his tune.

Number 2: Don't listen to a thing Karl Rove has to say. He made a bunch of money while the monkeys danced to his tune.

Number 3: Don't listen to any polls because they can be skewed to show something that isn't there at the same time invalidating polls that are spot on.

You might be right. Conservatives in America may be as irrelevant as conservatives in Europe. We’re all socialists now.

Just don’t expect conservatives to support the socialist lite Republicans. Romney 2012 may be the high point fro Republicans!

Bush43 was no true conservative but during both his campaigns he RAN as a conservative and narrowly won both times.

Reagan WAS a true conservative and also ran as such two times and won in TWO LANDSLIDES!!!

You not only have little faith in the American people but are in denial of the facts...anyone but Romney could have stomped the Marxist...IT'S THE MESSENGER not THE MESSAGE in today's political world and if we had had a real conservative candidate to preach reality instead of the fantasies of the Left we would not be hoarding food, water, gold and ammunition now.

You an Ann Coulter sycophant?

If elections really mattered they would be illegal.

Totally agree. How about starting with us folks on the right stop wasting time hand-wringing over how to pander to victim groups better than the left and put the energy into exposing the 2012 election as the sham it was.

I wasn't Mitt's biggest fan either, but jeez Louise, the mission really was clear: vote him out and stop 0zer0 from finishing the job. We can't afford to wait weeks, months or years to do it.

It seems like people are too worried about being labeled a nutjob to do the right thing. Is that being sensible, prudent, cowardly, lazy? Do we honor the sacrifice of those that put it all out there for their country by saying it's hopeless, move along? We already know most of the chattering class (and all of the left = MSM) are fools, or dishonest or both. Why do we take our cues from them?

Even if we think there isn't a snowball's chance, we owe it to each other to try. If we fall short (God help us) maybe, just maybe we can change the process and the outcome of future elections - in the off-chance there's anything left after 4 years of "flexibility".

Keep up the good work patriot8. I'll be doing everything I can legally do until they make it illegal. Then I'll reevaluate my options.

For me, it's put up or shut time.

And thank you Edmund Burke.

you presume ‘facts’ that are not in evidence. any other republican would have met the same fate.

oh, and Ronnie was not running this time, nor was Jimmeh.

BTW what is a ‘Ann Coulter sycophant’?
