Politics: Conservatives? Time to stop the whining. Tuesday was the siege of Charleston.

On April 2nd 1780, British Lieutenant General Sir Henry Clinton led an overwhelming force as it lay siege to the city of Charleston, South Carolina. The ensuing violence lasted 40 days. When it was over, 5,200 Continental troops had been captured, 92 were killed, and 148 were wounded. The city was lost. It would go down in history as the worst U.S. defeat of the Revolutionary War.

As news of the loss spread, Americans complained that war was hard, there was no way to win, and that Liberty just wasn’t worth the hassle. So, they surrendered and we remain English to this day.

Oh wait…that’s not what happened, is it.

The PEOPLE of Scotland are voting to be independent of Britain .So why can’t we have on our ballots for each state the right to vote for independence(secession)? Many of us in states voted for several amendments. Why can’t we vote for independence?

I’m not whining. I’m taking action.

Have already figured some ways to reduce my economic footprint so that Obama’s economy can get the treatment it deserves.

Yeah, but you didn't have George Washington, Nathaniel Green, or Francis Marion caving in to British demands that they cooperate on a bi-partisan level. The closer approximation to today's Republicans is Benedict "Chris Christie" Arnold. He knew how to be bi-partisan.

Reducing my economic footprint by cutting back on services...started this right after the election! Our family has been notifying businesses that because of Obama’s continued hold onto power, we have to change our budget.

Our economic footprint is now down $247 a month...or $2,964 a year.

Again we beaten conservatives are enjoined to "put on our Big Boy Pants". Classic.

I won't even bother to go into the reasons I believe we will never win in the current environment under the rules as they currently exist. Thats just what the left wnats us to do - we keep putting up our dukes to fight not only the democrats and the media, but the GOPe also. Well it doesn't work.

Our principles may ultimately prevail in this country, but right now I cannot see the way forward.

True, we don’t have the likes of our Founders here today. But we still have some pretty good folks who are going to keep fighting the good fight.

All is not lost...yet.

At least, that’s what I’m telling myself.

Take a look at this as well...

Going Galt is not enough, Galt will only work with a currency tied to something of value, QE Infinity changed the rules...

The only real currency now is calories... Time to start mining calories.

The Democrats had four years of buying votes and they still almost didn’t win the election. They aren’t that good. We’re just worse.

“If you know yourself and know your enemy, in one hundred battles, you will not be beaten.”

The first thing we have to understand is our enemy’s motivations. What EMOTIONS make them vote the way they do? And also, what self-interests do they see the Democrats meeting? The leaders of the Democrat party are just grifters. Look at the Clintons, Obama, Carville, Kerry, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi. They are all grifters. We know what motivates them. But what motivates the Democrat voters? It’s easy to sit back and say they’re stupid, but are they really? If they voted for Cap’n Crunch, they would be stupid. They vote for grifters. Why? We have to understand their emotions and motivations so we can defeat their grifter leaders.

“Time to start mining calories”

Explain

Start using the tools the collectivists gave us to mine calories from stores using EBT cards to buy canned sotrable foods and water etc...

Use the extra cash you save for re-inforcing the 2nd amendment rights....

This does two things...

1. It starves the beast quicker than going Galt...

2. It put you in a better position to re-build than the takers who live from day to day....

Atlas Shouldn’t Shrug, Atlas should get even!

If an army of dumbed down leeches takes 50 years to take down a system and collapse it...

Imagine what a group of producers who are pissed off and know hard work and are extremely motivated can do in 4 short years!

Listening to descriptions of how “Democrats got out their ground game” with “superior ability to bring those to the polls who normally would never go” by the commentators on Fox election night..made me realize..what they actually have done is track names that HAVE NOT VOTED IN MANY, MANY elections cycles....and vote them.

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/10/23/No-Car-Finds-2-214-Registered-Voters-110-Years-of-Age-Older

A well-funded project, county-by-county..to examine the names signed in at at the polls..and going out to find those individuals..you’ll find they were never physically at he polls..or they themselves never filled out the absentee ballot....or their names in the death registers.

“not understanding Dems” is a liberal approach.

taking responsibility in each of our election precincts for assessing voter fraud, prosecuting it, instituting changes to prevent it and policing those changes is the solution.

the very real problem we face..is that the national GOP hasn't the ‘nads to do so..and they the Dems have now had two free passes in four years to believe they can continue do so with impunity.

We need to double down on demands that 0bama be impeached for, among other things:

1) Dereliction of Duty during Benghazi:

0bama is a traitor for not coming to the aid of Americans in distress in Benghazi. Although we don't know exactly what Ambassador Stevens and Turkish Consul General Ali Sait Akin's meeting was about that night, we do know that the attack started 40 minutes following their meeting. THIS IS NOT A COINCIDENCE. This was a coordinated and retaliatory attack, based on results of this meeting being UNFAVORABLE to Turkey. Bear in mind that the President of Turkey, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is ONE OF OBAMA'S CLOSEST FRIENDS!

OBAMA DID NOT SEND TROOPS TO KILL THE ATTACKERS BECAUSE HE DIDN'T WANT TO UPSET ONE OF HIS CLOSEST FRIENDS, THE PRESIDENT OF TURKEY. 0bama chose also, not to jeopardize his re-election bid with a possible failed rescue attempt (Typical of 0bama: POLITICS trumps everything!!)

2) Cover-Up

The false narrative that the event was a "protest over an Anti-Islam video" was a knowingly false 'cover story' to HIDE many 0bama administration failures, to include 0bama's failure to attend security briefings, the draw-down of security prior to the attack, denial of requests from Stevens for more security, weapons dealings with terrorist groups, 0bama's failure to send in a rescue team, and lastly to hide the fact a covert CIA annex was at that location.

Among other questions, UNDER OATH Susan Rice must be asked the "Who told you to say that the (terrorist attack) in Benghazi was a "protest over a YouTube video"???

Tuesday was not April 2, 1780. It was July 3, 1863, and we were the guys in grey. Nevermind the fact that the Democrat party was the one fighting for slavery, but you know what I mean...

Anyway, many more battles are yet to take place, but the outcome is inevitable. We are past the tipping point. Romney was wrong about the 47%. It is now 51%. The dem strategy of impoverishing everyone they can and dropping them into their bag of welfare-dependent zombies has succeeded. They will now move swiftly to dismantle the economic infrastructure that might have led people to prosperity and independence and even more will fall into their camp.

You may be shocked to see how easily and comfortably people will be conditioned and settle into their lowered horizons, lessened and contrained lifestyle options and comprehensive government control over every aspect of their lives. We’ll be kept numb, entertained and indifferent through drugs, consequence-free sex, porn, professional sports, reality shows and celebrity gossip. In case you didn’t notice it, your public schools have been doing it to your children for two generations now, and for the past ten years agencies like the TSA have been doing it to adults. Look at what sheep we’ve become. Grown men and women playing ‘statues’ in the airport when some blue shirt slug yells ‘FREEZE!”

Obama is truly a towering historical figure who has presided over precisely what he said he’d do, fundamentally transform this country. He’s done it, achieved the liberal progressive dream. Gotta give him credit.

I think a lot of them vote based on perception. We’ve allowed the Dems/leftists to smear the GOP. We are not racists, we are the party that worked to free the slaves. We’re not the party of the rich, we’re the party that wants to see every individual succeed & enjoy the fruit of their success.

We need to spend a year doing ‘informational minutes’ on what the Republican Party/Conservatives are all about & get the message of our vision of the country out. And the year before the next election, start ads that say: Insanity is doing the same thing over & over & expecting a different result - with pictures of Pelosi, Schumer, Obama, etc... over the tag line.

We have to take back the message!

I believe that I do understand the Democrats. I believe that they are entirely capable of cheating to win elections. It is my understanding that there are more people who claim to be Democrat than claim to be Republican, so, even if there is no cheating, and the Democrats run strong candidates and energize their base, they win. And, even if you do find cheating going on by the Democrats where you live, how will that make any difference if the media doesn’t report it?

“If you fail to understand yourself and your enemy, you will always be defeated.”

MARK LEVIN: We conservatives, we do not accept bipartisanship in the pursuit of tyranny. Period. We will not negotiate the terms of our economic and political servitude. Period. We will not abandon our child to a dark and bleak future. We will not accept a fate that is alien to the legacy we inherited from every single future generation in this country. We will not accept social engineering by politicians and bureaucrats who treat us like lab rats, rather than self-sufficient human beings. There are those in this country who choose tyranny over liberty. They do not speak for us, 57 million of us who voted against this yesterday, and they do not get to dictate to us under our Constitution.

We are the alternative. We will resist. We’re not going to surrender to this. We will not be passive, we will not be compliant in our demise. We’re not good losers, you better believe we’re sore losers! A good loser is a loser forever. Now I hear we’re called ‘purists.’ Conservatives are called purists. The very people who keep nominating moderates, now call us purists the way the left calls us purists. Yeah, things like liberty, and property rights, individual sovereignty, and the Constitution, and capitalism. We’re purists now. And we have to hear this crap from conservatives, or pseudo-conservatives, Republicans.
