Clinton vs. Rice is U.S. best bet for 2016 (Women are better managers, leaders)
MarketWatch ^ | 11-9-12 | Paul B. Farrell

Posted on 11/09/2012 6:15:21 AM PST by ExxonPatrolUs

A few years ago Wall Street Journal columnist Jason Zweig quoted well-known finance professors Brad Barber and Terrance Odean. Their research proved “women’s risk-adjusted returns beat those of men by an average of about one percentage point annually ... women trade less frequently, hold less volatile portfolios.”

Men’s brains think like aggressive hyperactive kids playing video games: “In the testosterone-poisoned sandbox of the male investor, the most important thing is beating the other guy; the second most important: bragging about it. The long term is somebody else’s problem and asking for advice is an admission of inferiority. Worrying about risk is for sissies.

Is it any wonder the male-dominated world of Wall Street has boomed and busted every few years for more than two centuries?”

It’s also easy to understand why America’s future would be safer if women were in leadership roles. As Zweig put it: Women “put safety first ... are less afflicted than men by overconfidence, or the delusion that they know more than they really do. And they’re more likely than men to attribute success to factors outside themselves, like luck or fate.”

America can’t survive as a nation with leaders trapped in an inherent self-destructive tendency, and trapped in denial till it’s too late. The 21st century’s demands women into leadership roles.

It is according to a woman, which is the problem right there...

'Men want men to be men, and women to be women..

Women want everyone to be women..'

We can’t play identity politics like the Dems — put up a woman, put up a Hispanic, put up a black candidate (or mix all three). That doesn’t work for conservatives.

To please our voters, we need a person with a squeaky clean record from birth, conservative bona fides, Christian (no pseudo religions according to some), nice but willing to FIGHT in debates without coming off as a war monger, and someone camera ready.

That is a tall order.

I am so sick of thinking about 2016. We are a very short time away from understanding what is going to happen in this country in the next 4 years.

I doubt we are going to ever look at anything in the same way again. Some of the things coming will never be able to be overturned without total collapse. We are going to be spending our time just trying to stay alive and have a damn roof over our head.

And we sit here doing the rah rah thing for who is the most perfect for 2016.

I just shake my head.

By the way, Hillary will win because she is a democrat. That is just a fact of life or the new normal. They count the votes.

Good time for a third party. Those two libs can split the parasite, braindead and liberal/socialist vote and the third party conservative should win with what remains of thinking self-responsible Americans.

According to the administration and state department, Hillary Clinton is responsible for the Bengazi Massacre. Obama will run for a 3rd term.

Off topic,

Generally speaking, marketwatch is a good online ‘mag’ to read articles?

NO and NO

Hillary Benghazi Alinsky Rodham has botched everything she ever was handed to try to lead.

AS for Rice- stop looking for a black token to represent the GOP, we dont have anything to try to prove that will change anyone’s mind who is on the democrat plantation

especially trying to elevate a woman who never ran for any elected office, has no financial base and did a pretty mediocre job as an advisor to a president who was and continues to be failed by his advisors, frankly

she is better off in academia, that is her strength. Not leadership. for all we know she is a female Colin Powell

I did not get that the quote was from a woman. The article is by Paul Farrell, the article mentions Jason Zweig, Brad Barber and Terrance Odean. So I did not realize a woman said that, it is no where clear in the article, only men are mentioned by name.

Sorry but as evidenced by recent events the majority of women are fairly stupid. All you have to do is tell them that those mean old republicans wanna control those lady parts and 60+% of them scream “war on women” and vote for the worst president in modern history.

I didn’t vote for Romney in the primary. I voted against Obama in the general, but I’m getting tired of being asked to vote for increasingly liberal politicians. If the only way to win is to vote for someone who is a democrat in all be registration, then there is no up side to winning.

I’ve largely concluded that short of a massive religious revival, there is no hope whatever for this country. Detroit led the way into the sewer, and California is following as fast as it can, but do you see any sign their inhabitants are repenting? Or growing up?

When a significant majority of young women are willing to “vote their vaginas” and demand that older men who have spent a lifetime saving pay for them to have sex with young men...there is no hope. The country has failed. Without revival, there is no future but descent.

They floated Rice’s name for the VP slot, and it went over like a lead balloon.

In other words: Run Rice to Lose Again.

Choosing candidates based on ability would be racist, sexist, or both. We need to leave the racism of the past behind us and choose candidates based on sex or skin color . . . apparently that makes sense to today’s liberals.

Condi has no interest in running for the Presidency. She would like to be the head of the NFL.

Rice just doesn’t have the personality to run for President. I’m sure that the MSM will promote her over the next four years...just waiting to knife her if she were to get the nomination.
We now need a new party. Not Tea Party..but a conservative party that selects a candidate with a convention prior to the Mid term elections.
