Why bother? If the people wanted a different outcome, they would have given us a GOP Senate and White House.

Give the people what they want.

Good and hard.

My niece called to say "Tough luck". I helped her thru a little financial difficulty this past summer, not the first time either, and now I get "Tough Luck". She already started her Christmas shopping, so come January she'll be in a financial bind. And she'll call. And I will send her a card, and it will say "Tough luck".

It just downed on me that in the name of Ambassador Stevens, Obama should replace the title "Ambassador" to "Ambsace".

My DH works for the defense industry. Layoffs were scheduled and didn’t happen, then we learned of the coercion of the Obama admin regarding defense cut layoffs. Depressing place to work these days. The lemmings were in DH’s office gloating that their man got another 4 years. He’s speculating on which one will go on Jan 1st and praying it’s not him.

Clever. And that would be perfect for such an insensitive niece. Perhaps a card with coal for Xmas on top of that.....the foolish will run around wasting time, while the rest of us will prepare. And don’t worry about the niece, she can get an ObamaPhone.

You might direct her to Obama as someone to help since you have fallen on tough luck. That’s awfully nasty of her.

Yep, you got it. I was seeing snake eyes as the two of them...Obama and Biden. You may think it’s good, but like a snake, they will strike without warning.

My ambsace this AM is that I made it to Sam’s Club during the early hours for business. We belong both to Sam’s and to Costco. It is interesting because Costco is the preferred shopping spot around here — much nicer neighborhood. But, their hours are crummy, and they don’t have much of a selection for business. And both the clientele and the other shoppers are horrid. I’ve actually been accosted by other shoppers at Costco. Snippy, horrid women.

I never go to Sam’s this early, but I did this AM because my accountant is coming in today to help me close October. I’m SO glad I went there. Not only did I have the run of the place this AM, but they serve free coffee and juice for early shoppers! They even had an array of fresh fruit and pastries layed out. Not sure if those were free, or whether they were just advertising their elevated buffet servers. THe orange juice was served in a cut “crystal” urn! Very la-de-dah! Although I’d already had breakfast, the second cup of coffee for the road really hit the spot. And I got all my business needs purchased that should hold me for another 2 months!

Good grief! If I’d only known how nice they are at 7 AM, I’d have shopped there early all the time. I feel totally pampered. (It doesn’t take much.) My husband is leaving for his annual hunting trip in Missouri on Sun., so I think I’ll go back tomorrow at 7 AM to purchase “stuff” for him to take. And to enjoy another cup of free coffee.

Time for some really good music. I love every song they have done on this show. Thank heaven for T. Bone Burnett. This music soothes my soul.
