VIDEO THE VOTE
me | 11/08/12 | struggle

Dear Conservative:

I think it's bad Obama won - we all do. Let's stop whining and look for a solution to voter fraud other than photo ID.

I suggest creating a stand with a camera 100 feet outside of the entrance of the voting location, pointed at the voting entrance, and tape it from beginning until closing. Play the video back and count how many actually entered the polling location. This would be legal and effective. This could be done secretively or out in the open.

We then have a video document that will actually counteract voter fraud and would be able to hold people responsible.

Think about it.

By the way, a cheap video camera with a 32 gig chip recording at medium resolution could go the whole 12 hrs. It would also be important to time/date stamp the video.

We did not lose this election because of voter fraud. Not even close.

Should we do what we can to prevent it? Sure. But that isn’t why we lost and it isn’t why it is going to become more and more difficult for us to win elections in the future.

I don’t think so. There is a huge disparity about vote expectations and actual turnout. If voter fraud can happen with Allen West on a small scale (a sudden 4000 vote turn around in an hour after voting has been completed) it can happen on a big scale as well.

EXCELLENT IDEA. Another thing we must do, is have volunteers monitor the parking lots outside these polling places. We must submit the license plates of vehicles entering the parking lots to a shared place.

If the same license appears at a 2nd voting place then alarms go off.

We probably have an idea what to look for—it’s not going to be granny or a mom with her three year old.

A van filled up with certain demographics is something to be sure to report.

I don’t think the problem is the same voters comming in more than once.

The problem is inside the building. I can’t speak for all states. But I learned that while poll workers are sitting at their tables, they are opening absentee ballots, signing the registration book for the ballots and then feeding them into the machines. I saw a lady, right in front of me sign Mark (somebody’s) name in the book and asked about it. I called my district’s election attorney to ask why a worker would be signing other peoples name. He answered immediately, “absentee ballots”.

Think about this for a minute. The campaigns have a record of who is registered but doesn’t vote year after year. All you really need to do is fill out a whole boat load of absentee ballots, put them in the envelopes and get them to the tables for workers to do what they need to do.

I would bet all I’m worth that this happens in places (if it could be proved). The greatest part of this scam is that it’s fool proof if the right envelopes are used. The only way anyone would even investigate it is if someone showed up to vote and their name was already signed. But we know that never happens (right?).

There is no foolproof way to prevent fraud. But certain districts are not working that hard to prevent it. The poll worker would not even know they were part of the scam in most cases. ...Just doing their job.

It wasn't voter fraud.
It was conservative fraud.
Put a real conservative up against a Dem and they win.
Put a RINO up against a Dem and you loose.
Today the left would label JFK as an extreme conservative war hawk.
Conservatives don't vote if they see no difference between the candidates.
However, I own a company that develops high tech products, and I do have a fool proof way of stopping voter fraud.

I am not convinced it wasn’t lost because of voter fraud. All you have to do is look at the US red/blue map. The campaigns have it down to an absolute science. They know what they need to come out of every precinct in each county of every state. They don’t focus on a state, they zero in on a specific voting area in that state. They know the small zones that will win it for them and I believe that is where they “enhance” the votes. All they have to do is toy with the numbers in precincts.

I'm sorry but if you think voter fraud is why we lost so badly, you are doomed to waste your time and energy on a wild goose chase. And that is sad, because this country needs conservatives like you to focus the real stuff that needs doing in order to get things going in the right direction again.

The GOP turnout machine wasn't up to snuff. No doubt, and we need to turn that around. The Democrats have always been incredible at turnout operations. It is easier for them considering their people are in urban areas and they can just haul them to the polls building by building. If Republicans lived in densely populated areas we could do the same.

Alan West did not lose because of voter fraud. Tossing those charges around with no evidence is just silly. West's district changed and had more Democrats in it. He will run again at some point in a more Republican district and will be back in Congress in the future.

Dont fool yourself, if you cannot convict the Attorney General of gun running, all you will get for your video is a bullet in the head.

Step back and take a good look at what just happened. The communiusts just took over the country, what comes next when that happens in every case in history? There is a slow train coming around the bend, my suggestion is get off the tracks.

IMO if there was systemic cheating, it was by flipping votes rather than completely vaporizing them.

That is, Obama turnout would therefore have been even lower in predominantly GOP precincts than the results record.

Yes, the heavily Democratic inner city precincts cheated, as they always do. For cheating to have made a difference this time—and to explain the drop in GOP votes—it would have had to be more than just that usual. I’m not convinced, but if I had to guess, I’d say it was—and it involved voting machine tabulation software or calibration.

In Mexico, they give National Voter I.D cards. YOU HAVE to have this card to vote. Your photo is placed in the precinct registry files with name. They verify citizenship, because I am an American I can’t vote! Been here 25 years. They work all year to make sure people have only ONE National Voter I.D. cards comparing birth certificate, immigration records, and house address.
Before votes begin, pictures are taken of ballot boxes that are clear plastic, see through. Judges from 3 parties volunteer to watch the boxes, and after voting, all ballots are counted and tallied.
After voting, they punch a hole in the top right hand corner of your National Photo I.D, they draw a black line in the photo name line in your precinct, and they dip your finger in silver nitrate. You can come back and vote again, it’s hard to get off.
The US people are going to have to understand that their are power take over groups that will stoop to anything to get votes. In Mexico, after you go through all of this, sometimes people will take an empty ballot in their pocket to the street and sell it for $50 USD for the highest bidder to put X in the spot, and when then the person who goes to vote, could in theory pull out of his pockets ballots he has purchased and put X in the spot.

Maybe absentee ballots should have a place for a required notarization, stating that the voter must show a long-form birth certificate and photo ID in order to get it notarized before sending it back.

We need to collect the ideas to combat voter fraud and actually do something about this.

I’ve suggested required surveillance at all polling places, mandatory 4-year no-probation jail sentences for any election official who throws out a certified election observer without video proof that they were physically hindering the voting, and a requirement that observers have videotaping capability to cover for any “breakdown” of surveillance cameras.

I’ve also suggested that the vote tabulation software companies be required to work within a platform that automatically securely logs all input to the software itself so that any transaction involving the software itself would be trackable and available for audit.

Absentee votes might mess up the count. In my district, absentee votes are counted at the polling place where the person would have voted if they’d done so in person, and “early voting” is actually done as an absentee vote. So, if you counted the number of people who walked in, you would have found that there were roughly 715 more votes cast than people.

I say “roughly” because there were some people who had to be turned away because they were at the wrong place, couldn’t prove their residency, or were otherwise ineligable.

Like in Philadelphia precincts where Obama got 99% of the votes - even higher than if every person who voted was Black, according to the voting rates for Blacks.

Or the places where there were hundreds (thousands? I can’t remember the statistic) of absentee voters 120 years old...

Heck, how about the military ballots that won’t EVER be counted because of the (willful?) incompetence of the military and civilian postal service? And the ballots that were lost because of an airplane crash in Afghanistan... Lot of military people claim FL as their place of residence because of the tax incentives (or at least that’s how it was when my BIL was in the military).

Of course, you'll have to account for the Election workers, the poll watchers, and so on, who might go in and out multiple times during the day.

And now there's a new addition to the Dem's GOTV arsenal here in our town, most especially at the local college: The election-day "Helpers". The law makes provision for voters to take people into the polls with them to "assist" them. The purpose of this law is for non-English speakers and for handicapped people, who may genuinely need assistance.

But IMHO, the intent of the law is being abused when pairs of students (on the Obama/Soros payroll no doubt) go up and down the halls of the huge student center - which has gobs of traffic going through all the time, and also happens to be the county's only on-campus "Voting Center" - confronting any student without an "I Voted" sticker on, and if they admit they've not voted, they are practically frog-marched, one obamadroid on each side, to the polls and then inside (the intimidated student will of course agree to call them his "helpers").

The Lefties relentlessly hatch new ways to increase their turnout with no regard to ethics (or to law if they think they'll get away with it), and the Right is always, always playing catch-up.

And here's yet another clever tactic I'd not heard of: A GOP activist here has a son living in the local campus dorms. Most of the hallways contain both genders, but with only one gender per room (2 to 4 roommates). Her son and his roommate got a knock on the door from two Obama canvassers, both of them "beautiful girls". At the same time, a few rooms down, two female roommates were visited by two other Obama canvassers - both good-looking males. Coincidence? Yeah, right. But hey, sex appeal is the most effective selling tactic ever discovered by Madison Ave. Nothing illegal in it.

The point here, is that the Libs think up all these kinds of tactics and put them into their Ground Game. And Conservatives don't. Wouldn't it be nice if our side brainstormed some new tactics first, and let the Lefties play catch-up for a change!

Unless you live in a small town, which probably has a smaller chance for fraud, I can’t imagine that this is a viable solution.

Here in Bloomington, Minnesota, polling places are buildings such as churches, high schools, and government buildings.

So... you have large buildings with many access points.

You have busy locations with hundreds of non-voters who enter the buildings for legitimate reasons unrelated to voting on Election Day.

You have folks, like me, who accompany my elderly mother to her polling spot, then drive elsewhere to vote in my precinct.

And you have officials who would rightfully get upset about you photographing people entering their facility. Some stranger taking pictures of all the high school girls? Like that will go over well! And then there’s our National Guard Armory which is used as a polling place. Oh, I’m sure they’d love to find someone surreptitiously filming the activity at their location!

You're comparing it to the voting rate for blacks across the whole economic spectrum when the sample here is likely much more homogeneous.
