Make these moochers feel the pain, and let Obozo and his DNC minions in the Senate feel some heat.
GAME ON!
Better now than later.
If you lose your job, through no fault of your own, will you be one of those ‘moochers?’ If someone is homeless, where do they deliver those rations to and what do they cook them on?
I’m convinced the holders of these EBT cards are THE locust swarm spoken of in the Bible.
I love your idea, and you would think that any thinking person would. This forum now has, however, a significant number of looters and leeches who feel quite entitled to those cards. They will flame and call us dreadful names for daring to take away what they are too lazy to work for. Oh, and they have every excuse for why they *can’t* work -— even though there are always jobs for those who truly want to work.

PROFESSOR TERGUSON
Let's get down to brass tacks.
And get rid of those damn Obamaphones!
No broke bastard needs a cellphone. Give these people a rotary dial if they need a phone that badly.
First of all, it’s Clubber Lang.
Second of all, you’re dreaming if you think that will EVER happen.
Thirdly, thanks for taking the time to post, and I hope you are doing well.
I don’t do much grocery shopping, so I don’t get to see many food-stampers. But this evening I stopped off at Braum’s (it’s a burger/ice cream/milk&eggs chain) for my weekly milk&eggs, and found myself in line behind one - a nicely-dressed middle-aged woman who swiped her Lone Star card for a bag of ice. Then she walked over to the ice cream bar and paid cash for her sundae. As I drove away, I saw her getting into her late-model PT Cruiser.
“Living in poverty” used to be unpleasant. Today, not so much.
Those EBT recipients are just the frosting. The real beneficiaries of the SNAP program are Big Ag (food processors), Evil Junk Food (YUM, et al)and the grocery stores, which includes unionized employees. Collateral beneficiaries are the truckers. I have no idea how many of them are Teamsters or other union.
SNAP, I have read, is most of the Ag Bill.
LOVE the title.
I think “Bill Clinton” was on the right track with workfare.
For one thing it can be explained compassionately.
Have always heard people are psycologically better off if they have a job.
Never understood why Republicans never say something like work is good for the soul.
Doesn’t everyone want to work? /rhetorical question
I was talking to a lady recently and I said, I worked with a guy, political surveys by phone, who was twisted up in a wheel chair.
Then she told me she knew a women who was a PARAPLEGIC who was a dispatcher.
At the very least welfare folks should have to go somewhere and if they don’t work they sit and wait for 8 hours to get their g’mint check.
Likewise, food should be g’mint food lines that require you to wait in line for 30 minutes to an hour.
