America, I Weep For Thee:Worst Day in American History. Sorrowful Obituary to the Land I Love,

Posted on 11/07/2012 2:45:33 PM PST by lbryce

Today, the rest of my life will remain eternally extended in mourning for the greatest country ever to grace the otherwise sorry, misbegotten, soon to be forgotten history of human civilization as it takes a huge leap into the abyss, its inherent characteristic at self-subversion, its obsessive death-wish come to ultimate fruition.

It may be God's will after all, the usurpation of His blessing, the cornucopia of divine largesse, bestowal recalled, the negation for, of, the glory, the majesty, the beneficence, that is, always be America, America's legacy, is no more.

Just as God had done to Israel, removed His spirit from where He once had rested here on Earth, exiled its people into the Diaspora, so too, has He extracted the same on America, for its utter profligacy, it's rapacious, hedonistic lifestyle the immorality transcendent as a metastasizing cancer across the land, its decadence growing increasing larger and more pervasive, homosexuality, immorality rampant, state after state sanctioning the worst of mankind's indulgence, it's savage, barbaric persona, has undone America, it's people deserving no better than what it gravitated to in the guise of Satan in human form making it unworthy of the greatness it once aspired to, was, as shining city on the hill, a beacon of freedom, pursuit of happiness to the world in distress, the horrible inexplicable irony of it all, the very worst of it all was the self-infliction, it's overwhelming proclivity at self-immolation, to destroy, re-create itself throughout history having reached its apex most grotesque, in that this time, is the final time, once destroyed, having wreaked destruction to an extent nearly impossible to reanimate.

America, I cry uncontrollably for you, your utter irreplaceable, indispensable loss to us, the world, humanity itself, and forever shall you remain in the collective hearts of those who mourn along with me.

I feel like I just came home and found my neighbors have burned my house down with my family in it.

God has forsaken us and we are deserving of His wrath.

We should each and every one of us be on our knees begging his forgiveness.

May Christ have mercy on us.

Or maybe Obama is God’s chosen leader to lead America to greatness again. How does one tell?

I understand that you are upset, but why murder prose?

I got an email sent to a group of conservative friends, and I responded to all of them with the following:
************************************************************

This is not a ray of sunshine here. This is a bleak outlook. I haven’t got it in me to personally vilify that man and his ilk any more than they already have been in some corners, and not near the degree they deserve.

I wasn’t convinced Romney was a great choice. I wasn’t convinced Romney could turn things around, but at least I thought he might buy some time, that he wouldn’t grease the skids. I thought there was a small chance he could buy enough time. Maybe.

The huge problem our country faces isn’t that Obama was elected to a second term. The problem is that there were that many people populating the electorate who saw him as a good and viable option for another four years.

That cannot be corrected. And it won’t be. The “tipping point” conservatives have talked about for years has already come and gone, and this election is simply the coming out party for it.

Once enough of those people who voted for Obama understand what the real issue is and how it should have been approached, it will be far too late. We aren’t climbing out of this hole. We are heading towards the bottom at full speed now. I think the die is cast. Our country will be completely transformed in four more years.

Four more years of full bore public school and college indoctrination of young people by an administration and ideology bent on it.

Four more years of unparalleled government expansion.

Four more years of entrenchment by the government in the takeover of healthcare.

Four more years of pro-union arm twisting and legislation.

Four more years of progressing full bore PAST the tipping point to a LARGE majority of people who aren’t contributing, but are taking from others.

Four more years of destruction of our already crippled industrial base.

Four more years of stagnation, legislative obstruction, deliberate enfeebling and demonization of the American energy sector.

Four more years of dismantling, disemboweling and castration of the military.

Four more years of a corrosion to and destruction of any semblance of foreign policy that has America ’s interests at heart.

Four more years of destruction and complete disregard of the Constitution.

The way I see it, our country is dead now. All we can do is watch its body rot before our eyes and prepare for third world status. Prepare to see our Constitution changed. Prepare to see the Electoral College done away with, replaced by the popular vote.

If you have children, pray for their future and plan for yours accordingly.

Here’s my take.

I was just dumbfounded. I could not believe that even 20% of the citizenry could be smitten by this guy. But I prayed about it and a funny thing happened.

I’m completely at peace about it. It is as if the emotional response has been completely severed and all that is left is an intellectual realization that things are going to change in a very, very bad way and very soon. And that’s ok.

Life is a mist. We were never told it would be easy. And eternity is what matters.

This is gonna get really ugly, and it will be world wide. That fate was pretty sure no matter who won. Last night the fate was sealed. Keep the full armor of God and remember where your real home is. The Matrix is about to implode.

I’m being the least sarcastic, cynical, being absolutely somber and genuine. I’d appreciate you enlightening me on the specific passages of prose you are referring to. Thank you very much.

Are you familiar with Fowler's Dictionary of Modern English Usage?

Thank you for your reply. You've made accusations without providing the slightest basis for your comments, deluded righteous indignation. Posting here is about cerebral thought, profound insight, streams of consciousness that are sparked and just as easily lost that must be committed to text asap unfortunately without the luxury of editing, or adhering to the rules of grammar.

You prove yourself to be nothing more than the total ignorant, as* that you are, vacuous, bellicose, mentally brutish, not a single infinitesimal modicum of intellectual value, purpose to what you bray about in your "criticism" of what I've posted.

All you offer is nothing more than some mere argumentative contrivance as distraction, not unlike some ephemeral cloud of flatulent vapor, you, in your pathological freakishness consider a manifesto of divine thought, but one that exists only to be noticed, annoy, offend, elevate yourself by degrading others.

Wow! You must be so very proud of yourself, your cellmates at the institution must really be impressed.

I referred to Fowler's for three main reasons.

First, although you have a large vocabulary, you often use it imprecisely. Fowler's is an excellent guide to tightening that up.

Second, you have a preference for using three adjectives when one or none would improve the force of your statements. Your writing comes across as disorganized - and therefore your thinking does too.

Last, you favor the error Fowler calls "elegant variation" - by which he means the repetition of ideas in florid language.

There are other issues, but these are the ones that hold you back most.

Bad election? Agreed (except that the GOP retains control of the House). Tough road ahead? Absolutely.

But America dead? Hardly. These situations always seem desperate at first blush, but we will work through this.

Over? Did you say over? Nothing’s over until we decide it is [insert remainder of Bluto’s Animal House speech here]

I hope that statements about sobbing are just hyperbole, I really do. Conservatives must tighten the message. I remain convinced that, at least for now, most Americans, if they understood conservatism, and were honest with themselves, would embrace it.
