I feel so stupid. I have an accredited IQ of over 160, and it seems I am an idiot. I have been put in my place. If given 99 more times to vote against socialism and Obama I would because because logic would dictate no other action. But I was truly wrong and stupid to over estimate the intelligence of the common person. I was wrong and stupid to under estimate the selfishness and immorality of the self entitled cursed with the inability to reason. I hold no anger or contempt for the unwashed masses that have sentenced us all to mediocrity followed by abject failure. The only humane reaction is to pity those that lack the ability to reason, lack the confidence and perseverance to trust in ones self ability to be productive and to survive. For they will be robbed of the feeling of achievement which is what separates the human being from the poop throwing primates. Today we bid farewell to the world's last good hope of freedom. The once shining light of productive spirit and moral fortitude has been quenched. We will all bear the price of the immoral self entitled electorate. We will all pay the invoice levied by the uninspired. To Ben Franklin, John Adams,Thomas Jefferson, and the other founders... Thank you. It was a good run. Your experiment worked for two hundred years and produced the greatest of all in history. Thanks for the memories.

CS Lewis (I think) said we only truly come to Christ when we are disillusioned - that is, when we see things as they truly are and say, “Lord, I can’t handle this by myself”.

Please don’t turn into an elitist snob. Then the liberals will have won. The fact is that things aren’t that bad right now, but it will get worse. There is a fiscal cliff that is looming in a few months, and the president inherited his $6T deficit. People need to suffer greatly before true change and revival can happen. The great depression, where people literally starved, was a pivot point which spawned the greatest generation.

At first I blamed the envangelicals fot not turning out. But the real problem is that 51% of Americans have abandoned American values. They don't care about deficits, or foreign policy. They just want free stuff like the kid who wants a pony for Christmas and refuses to see why that is untenable.

Let’s have a long term project of bringing the wisdom of conservatism to the general public. That must underlay a change of the tide. We must do the hard work of growing the American culture, the American Way of Life.
I’m going to make sure my children completely understand America’s founders and guiding principles. They are at the age where they can turn around and talk about it with their friends.

People are very busy. An informed voter depends on a disinterested press accurately reporting. It's not really there.
That wasn't what happened here. Obama ran on fear, ran against Bush, and the 'historical nature' of his presidency bought him a second chance.
ObamaCare is coercing larger service industry businesses to move their workforces to part time and capping the part time under 30 hours. This will push more people to work two jobs or become dependent.
With SCOTUS having green lighted the ObamaCare mandate and no GOP sweep, it's here to stay. But it's unworkable. The part time economy will stretch more people across jobs to make ends meet; more might find jobs so the fake unemployment rate may drop. But at what cost? These won't be career building jobs that keep yourself fed and housed.
Expect single-payer to be positioned as the "fix" for the failed Republican plan of ObamaCare.

Bingo. Ditto with forcing everyone onto government-subsidized health care. In four years, a vote for a Republican will mean cutting your health care benefits. Not going to happen.

It could be that they actually were smarter than you're thinking: consider Romney's past, he's really liberal -- how can you get socialism out of the office by electing a socialist? You were betrayed, not by your fellows, but by the GOP leadership who had anointed Romney from before the primaries. (It's said far better here.)
Yup....it’s not about giving up. It’s a numbers game. And the numbers have changed in America FOREVER. This could have ALL been avoided with some sane immigration controls back in the 80s or early 90s. Too late now.

I do not believe the exit polls....any of them.
I firmly believe we have just been the victims of the biggest fraud in the history of mankind.
I refuse to believe that the American people were energized to vote for President Obama yesterday.
This election could be a script from a movie, therefore, I am starting to believe it was designed as such.
I think it is far more likely that a plan has been in the works to corrupt this cycle since 2010.
Multiple blue states voted for every Democrat in statewide races by a similar count as what President Obama gained in that state.
States that typically split their statewide vote went 100% Democrat for every statewide race. That can only come from straight party-line voting.
If you wanted to demoralize your opponents, and had the ability, you would arrange the votes in a few safe districts within a few states to overwhelm the other party’s safe districts, regardless of turnout.
Then, you would ensure the exit polling contradicted everything your opponents believe, everything they expect and everything they support.
At that point, your opponents would turn on each other, re-think their beliefs and dissolve into irrelevance.
Who would have thought that four years ago, the United States would elect a man who served only 40 months in the US Senate to the White House? Who would have thought his background, his history and his performance would be protected, minimized or dismissed over the course his first term?
If an evil alliance of socialists and islamists really exist in our world, could they have engineered such events?
